Thanks--good to know. I never much paid attention to new NARS collections and just got whatever whenever... it's just that my addiction is nearing MAC territory

i saw all of this today! its AMAZING i had a super talented MA at neiman marcus do my whole face. i got
galapagos single (must have for blue eyed girls)
unconditional love

(by the way my MA layered the green cream eyeshadow Nomad under galapagos, it was gorgeous)

I picked up most of this collection and, sorry to say, its all going back.
Portobello e/s duo - this looks very muddy on. The colors are flat, brown-taupe.
Unconditional Love cream e/s duo - this is very disappointing. Within one hour of application it was creasing (even on top of UD Primer Potion), I piled the color on and it was still very sheer. Within a few hours the color was gone.
Galapagos - very shimmery. Not sure if this is a keeper, it really isn't different enough from anything else in my collection to keep.
Supervixen l/g was a nice mauvey color.
The lipstick (don't remember the name) was a more brown version of Dolce Vita.

Don't use UDPP under creme eye shadow. Use powder under creme (it can be face powder) or eye shadow. Nars creme and powder eye shadows are meant to be layered together. Mine do not crease even after 20 hours in Hawaii's heat, humidity and pollution. I have oily skin as well.
I wouldn't use UDPP on under NARS shadows, I'd use one of their creme shadows like Thebes or Savage or Pink Panther or Summertime or a contrasting colour. Under a contrasting shadow it gives a holographic look, and is very bright. I find UDPP dulls my eyeshadows and makes them look ashy, no more UDPP for me.

The Portobello duo looks a lot like Rimmel Cream Caramels duo, but the rimmel is more warm/golden.

Looking forward to Galapagos, Unconditional love, and Portobello. Love the taupey and mushroomy browns. I think the Unconditional Love duo will make a great eyeshadow base for lots of colours.
