. The gloss looks much prettier in the tube than swatched IMO. Love the mint color, but there's no way I could rock it.

They are complementary colours! So not a surprising pairing to me.

This eye shadow duo is strange to me. I gave my daughter NARS Bysance and that wasn't so long ago. I'm surprised they've paired purple and yellow again.

By strange I meant I had seen it before relatively recently. It's a very memorable color pairing so I'd think they'd wait longer to try it again.

I think they waited a while, because the first reviews of Bysance on Makeupalley date back 2006.
