NARSissist Eye Palette

I received my palette yesterday. I was all set to return it based on the negative reviews. I opened the palette and fell in love. I've never bought a Nars eyeshadow before but I've swatched them many times at Sephora. I'm so happy that I didn't return the palette. It's lovely. Without a primer and swatched with a finger the colors are nicely pigmented. With UD's primer the swatches are heavily pigmented (using a sponge applicator). I'm not an MU so my personal use standards may be different than professionals but I'd rate these swatches as superior to MAC's new neutral palettes which although had many nice shades they also had some total misses. I did not find one miss in the Nars palette.

I swatched this today! I take it back that I'm going to wait.... I will be BUYING soon! Two of the darker colors swatched the same on my skintone, I couldn't tell the difference, and one color barely showed up. But all of the others were perfection so it will be worth it for me. I am glad that I didn't let the reviews discourage me from swatching. They discouraged me from impulse ordering but that was for the better because now I can buy with confidence

I think the "3 most fabulous" nars mentioned on instagram was referring to the 3 videos they just released on youtube. I guess there won't be any other new products for this collection

I am so annoyed! My palette order had been cancelled! I entered my over draft paying for this palette, so I complained to their customers service and they said I could receive a complimentary eyeshadow duo of my choice! Wow!!! I wanted Kalahari but it's out of stock. Do any of you ladies have a recommendation of other duos to try? Id love something neutral? Would definitely recommend complaining!

I bought it from the EU site but it still says pending, I'm quite worried as I ordered mine on Monday! I sent them an email but they haven't replied yet!! I had sent them an email on Saturday asking if it would come back in stock and they said no, then I saw it in stock on Monday so I bought it then. Doesn't sound very hopeful does it? Boohoo
