NC 45 - Petticoat or So Ceylon MSF

I'm an NC43/NC44 and Petticoat is the most gorgeous blush for me. I love the original So Ceylon, it seems to be more rosy, the new one is kind of just brown, but I bought it anyway. I'm thinking about getting another backup of Petticoat too since my original one is half gone.

My vote is to get Petticoat.

Contour cheekbones and temples of forehead with So Ceylon, and Petticoat on apples and blend into So Ceylon. Lots on the apples and chin! Gorgeous combo

Today I went to Mac and ended up buying Petticoat, my first MSF, I got the MA to put some on me and I really liked it. I kept looking at myself for the rest of the day! LOL!!

The finish on it is really different, metallic and shimmery at the same time and so soft and pretty. I think I will use it as a blush.

The So Ceylon almost blended right into my NC40 skin tone, although I only swatched it on my hand. Maybe next time I will try it on my face as my face is a lot lighter than my body!

I wish I could get my hands on some Warmed!

I already have warmed but still got So Ceylon..I also bought petticoat and soft and gentle. I agree to previous posters that they could be used as a blush or layer them together. great finish on me!!!!

I swatched them all yesterday and I really didn't care for So Ceylon. I ended up getting petticoat and sheerbronze. So Ceylon almost disappeared on my NC50 skin and it looked extremely close to the shimmer side in my MSF duo. So I passed.

Wow...Well X-Rocks is my #1 favorite blush!!! But Petticoat looks good on top of X-Rocks too...

If you can't get X-rocks, may I suggest trying the sephora blush me trio

I have it in Brun I believe. I'll have to check and make sure after work. But,when you swirl it around and get all the colors, it looks exactly the same as X-rocks on my NC50 skin.

Actually I have not seen it at the CCO...I bought a back-up from a member on here last week...I had no idea I would love it so much! But it is so fab I think on any skin tone

Update on my earlier post, I originally bought petticoat and loved it but went back tody and tried So Ceylon on my face. I was not wowed by it so didn't get it, seemed to blend in and not very noticeable the MA had to really layer it on to show up.

I'm glad I bought petticoat as it is all sold out! I think I will wait for Warmed to be reintroduced hopefully it will be on the next mineral collection!!

I have never seen Petticoat at my CCO....They normally don't get LE until they are no longer available on the MAC website... Interesting

Thanks for the swatches....I was going to get Petticoat, but now that I have seen X-rocks, I will be on the look out for one of them.

X-rocks is available in CCOs. I have seen it many times. The CCO in Concord, NC has it as well as the one in Gaffney, SC if anyone is in that area.
