With colors I am not sure about I try and apply them differently. This particular color looks a bit bold the way you applied it. I do like the color but if you soften up the edges with a Q-Tip it might make it less um... matronly

or even pat it on with the fingers. The solid slick of orange is a bit too much for your delicate complexion.

Ya, I think you look beautiful in just about anything, but I agree that the color is a little too orange. So Scarlett would kick ass on you (someone mentioned it earlier).

It is a tad orange, especially for the Winter. But in the Spring and Summer, when your complexion and makeup are a bit warmer it would be lovely blotted under a pinkish gloss. It would give a nice coral lip.

Hey everyone - thanks so much - I agree, it's too orange on me, I think. I've had it for ages and keep not wearing it for that very reason. For the record, in the photo I am wearing the lipstick only, no liner or gloss.

I've got loads of true and blue reds (see my avatar), so I am all set in that department.

I think it makes your blue eyes POP but other than that.. it doesn't really do anything for you

it makes you look older than you are, I also think a classic red would be gorgeous for you.

ahhh, I don't not use make up. I find a way to make to work

, by mixing different liners or even other lipsticks and glosses.


Oranges I find are better patted on the lips in the summer. I have the same complexion and blue eyes that the OP has.
