OK so today, I'm PMSing and have had tons of chocolate and I have a party to go to tonight. I figured I would go out and take some pictures (because it's a cool and pretty day outside) when I realized the galore of pizza all over my face. I'm 17, so I get it quite regularly, but today was just horrible. I wanted to show that you can't really cover them up completely, but lessen the effects by using POWDER first, before liquid foundation! =)
So, for people who don't like to read...
On extremely zitty days...
~Powder, then foundation, then powder
~Keep eyes neutral with lots of mascara to draw attention away from zits subtly
~Sheer lip color, no bright berries or anything!

See? I wasn't kidding. Also ignore the messy hair that looks greasy.
Always start by cleansing your face, scrubbing w/a scrub, moisturizer, and primer. I already did that.
Like I said, I ALWAYS put on Powder before. It helps from letting liquid foundation set into your skin and having your pores eat it all up. Put it on before and after.
NYC Translucent pressed for me, and all my brushes in this tutorial are MK except for the concealer:
Then, foundation on ONLY WHERE YOU NEED IT. For me, it's in a lot of places, but I am against all over foundation haha. I use Clinique Superbalanced in 2 Fair, and a Japonesque concealer brush (the coloring looks off in the bathrooom light, but it matches)
And, powder one last time to set that foundation:
In the end, you can't make a bump invisible. You can only make it seem less-red with foundation or concealer.
Now for e/s... I try to keep it simple on zitty days, or else there's too much going on on the face.
And... for those wondering: the e/s are Ulta Silk, WnW Fine Wink, Toofaced Glamazon, MAC Honey Lust, and Milani Sun Goddess, L to R =)
I used Fine Wink only on the lid.
Now, I'm using Ulta Plum Smoke (it's almost gone *sadness* on the crease.
Ulta silk on browbone and inner corners
Graphic Brown, winged out a bit just to play it up a little bit
And concealer is always optional. I personally don't really think I need concealer because I don't have bags or dark circles, but it helps clean-up a bit, and "completes" the look for me.
Using MAC Select Coverup NC20
Now put on mascara... I use Lancome Hypnose... and strike your scary face and then a normal one.
BOOOOHAHAHHAAHHHAH. k sorry.
Now any blush can really work, as long as it's light and not too noticeable. I used Jane Blushing Earth.
And now, I use Mary Kay Cocoa Creme gloss, my HG nude...
And I'm finished!
Somewhere between the last picture and this picture, I fixed my hair and put on my fav. necklace.
