I like Absinthe-Minded, Zombie Chic and Red Baroque the best, but those unzipped eyes are creeeepy. The one with the cracking face looks like it could be part of a really fun tattered old doll-type costume, too.

You should!!! I would love the MAs here to post the Halloween looks that they did. I know my MA submitted a doe one year but it didn't get picked. I like that the names and locations of the artists are featured this time.

Here are the details for machineman and red baroque as sent to me by a mac artist:

RED BAROQUE
Begin by setting your brows using CLEAR Brow Finisher. You may try to white out your brows by going back in with GESSO Matte Eye Shadow (a vivid white) followed again by CLEAR Brow Finisher. This is a difficult process, but worth a try!

Begin the eyes with a base shade of GESSO Matte Eye Shadow (a vivid white). Apply this shade from lash line to brow bone using the #252 brush. On the lower lid pat NYLON Frost Eye Shadow (a pale gold with icy metallic shimmer) on the inner corner, blending it out to meet RICEPAPER Frost Eye Shadow (a soft peachy gold with shimmer) in the center of the lower lid. Use the #219 and #217 brushes to accomplish this.

In the crease using the #222 brush, apply a sheer layer of WHITE FROST Eye Shadow (a vivid bright white with icy shimmer). Using the #224 brush, apply PASSIONATE Matte Eye Shadow (a real mid-tone red) over the WHITE FROST Eye Shadow, beginning mid-crease, pulling it up slightly past the crease for a diffused look. Deepen the outer corner of the crease with SKETCH Velvet Eye Shadow, (an intense burgundy plum flecked with red shimmer) using the #217 brush, but not blending it out over the diffused PASSIONATE. PASSIONATE should be seen beyond SKETCH.

Sweep FLAMMABLE Paint (an intense red with shimmer) along the lash lines using the #219 brush. Apply a thin line of BOOT BLACK Liquid Eye Liner to the lash line, precise and close to the lashes, still leaving FLAMMABLE to rim the eyes. Finish with two coats of ZOOMBLACK Zoom Lash Mascara.

For the skin, prep the face and the forehead using LUNA Cream Colour Base (a bright white with icy shimmer), using the #192 brush. Simply paint a very sheer layer onto the skin. Set the LUNA Cream Colour Base with a dusting of WHITE FROST Eye Shadow using the #225 brush. Just dust this shadow over the skin for a glow.

To sculpt the delicate shape of the Red Baroque look, I suggest using the #209 brush to begin. For the cheeks, draw the curvatures on using SKETCH Eye Shadow using the #209 brush for the strong outline. Using the #219 and the #224 brushes, diffuse this shade out around the curves to yield the softly blended look. For the forehead, use this same technique with PASSIONATE Eye Shadow.

The lips finish soft and natural lined with DERVISH Lip Pencil (a low key mauve) and filled with SANDY B Frost Lipstick (a light shell pink). Top with LOVE NECTAR Lustreglass (an ultra soft apricot with pearl).

MACHINEMAN
Begin by placing skin-safe first-aid tape over any areas which are to be kept light (ie, the middle of the nose, curving upwards on the forehead etc). Using first-aid tape will allow you to create crisp, clean lines. From there, using the facechart as a guide, apply BLACK Cream Colour Base (pure black) to the jaw, chin, lip and cheek area using a small, firm brush (such as the #266). Fade in any areas according to the facechart. Continue with the DEEP TRUTH Frost Eye Shadow (dark blue) applied along the sides of the nose, entire upper eye area and over the forehead. Diffuse the colour (according to the facechart) with Brush #252. Finish by applying ZOOMBLACK Zoom Lash Mascara to the upper and lower lashes and using the CLEAR Brow Finisher over the brows to keep them in place.

Re: Halloween?

Funnily enough I asked a Mac salesperson about this today. I said do you keep the old face charts for reference or use the next year but they don't keep them [

I need one now tho !!! lol!! I LOVE dressing up for Halloween and have decided to be a witch. I'm going to use a LOT of Dark Soul Pigment and engraved all over (messy), smudge my mascara around the eyes and use Benefit pistachio on the underneath bit (it has a nice greeny huey glow to it). I couldn't decide on red or nude lips though. Or blue. (Damn, I know I should have gotten that from C Shock!!!) ...

Grrr... I forgot to save the Halloween looks!

I forgot to save the Halloween looks and they have already been taken down from the website! Would someone who saved them be able to e-mail them to me? Pretty please? I'm looking for the pic and the breakdown...
