Did I just read that the Acropolis didn't make the cut? You gotta hand it to us for creating such beautiful architecture with marble, in such an ancient time period (500 B.C). I don't understand how the Colosseum classifies, when the Acropolis doesn't. I mean, Roman architecture was derived from Greek architecture. All they probably said was " Let's keep the column designs, add a few more floors, as to make it look more grandiose, throw in a few lions, and there you have it!"
