I bought glissaide yesterday and I'm returning it today--there was barely any colour pay off on my NC 42 skin.

Pretty collection but not for me.

I am absolutely giddy that I just passed up an entire MAC collection *pats relieved wallet*

I got both MSFs also yesterday (along with the piggies too), and I'm in love with glissade... just gorgeous!!!
I haven't played with lightscapade yet, but will soon.
part of me wants to go back and get backups, but i'm still debating as I've yet to use up a whole MSF, lol

I saw the collection in store and passed on it too. I was tempted to get Glissade, but after swatching it on my NC30 skin, I was disappointed. There just wasn't enough colour payoff to justify buying it.

I actually find it has decent colour payoff, and I'm about NC30. I apply it as blush with my 187/188/182, trying it once over Peaches blush (b/c I was afraid it'd be too sheer on its own) and once on its own. I like the glow I get using it on its own. Great as a peachy blush and a great match to my matte Peaches.

Overall, the collection isn't incredibly creative, but I like how much finer the shimmer is on everything. Comparing Corps de Ballet l/g and VGV, aside from VGV being a bit pinkier, the main dif. is the shimmer which is more multicoloured in CdB. I found t ihe same shimmer in the pigments (swatched at store) and I think the same is the the brown e/s in the quad (Terre something??). Anyhoo, since I'm still building my collection, I'm okay with what's been put out. I can see why long-time fans would pass up on most of it tho.

what about french grey e/s?
i think it's the best part of the collection, a PERFECT taupe that has the softest texture ever! it's something i'd wear with every color e/s i have...i'm even considering getting a backup!

I only bought the Pas de deux l/g and glissade msf. I love the look of the lightscapade but as an NW45 I dunno what to do with it? I'm going to go back and purchase standing ovation.

I didn't even bother swatching the e/s Pastels don't really do it for me and I though that the pigments were ok but again wasn't blown over.

I ended up getting Glissade, but it's nearly identical to NARS Orgasm blush on me. I like it though. I also got Jete which I immediately swapped because it's identical to Deckchair pigment, and I prefer pigments. I got the Corps de Ballet lip gloss as well, by accident. I wanted the coral lipstick, but got all the way home and she gave me the wrong item. I decided to keep it though, it's a nice pinky nude.
