Agreed! I always wear a little bit of milk sheered out all over my lid and apply a skin tone color, evens out the base of my eye lid for whenever I do a pin up-type look. Love it!

Just a quick heads up, I just became a retailer for NYX today. They accepted my business for a wholesale account. They are sending a catalog out in the mail, and I'll soon be able to offer the whole line to all of you who can't get it in your country.

Well, it depends on the person, of course. No product will work for everyone!

new NYX trio packaging???

Hi everyone, so I'm new to the whole NYX buzz, and after watching some videos on depotting the trios I thought great..I'll get a few trios and depot them. HOWEVER much to my disapointment the packaging seems to have changed and now I can't figure out how to depot the trios. Its glossy now and there does not seem to be any way to pop out the pan. Has anyone tried or is it even possible?? Thanks

Yes! I had this same problem a few months ago. Apparently NYX has changed the trio to one solid container instead of having the part with the eyeshadow is be two pieces. Here is what I did to get them out. I broke off the part with the mirror. I lined a cookie sheet with parchment paper and put them in oven on like 300 degrees after I broke the mirror part off. You have to be patient while doing this, but also really careful. When they're hot enough you can just bend the plastic and take the pans out. Just make sure you completely break the top part off with the mirror and remove any little nuts or bolts that were keeping it attached. Mine worked fine. Good luck!

I know! It sucks because I have a bunch of NYX pencils that I don't use unless I'm only out for a couple of hours, tops.

So, I went into a beauty supply today that never caught my attention and found that they sell La femme ANDDDDD NYX! They carry the round lippies and all of the jumbo pencils and a few lip/eye liners. I be super excited, yas.

oh p.s how long did you leave them in the oven? Did it change the texture and quality of the eyeshadows?

I just saw them really quickly. Next time I go and have money, I'm definitely going to stock up on NYX though, especially the jumbo pencils! Are the new ones out already?

okay so I tried your method of depotting and it worked great! but then when I went to stick them in the pallette they would not stick in. I have the pallette from starsmkaeup haven, and I have the little magnets stuck in the pallette but the nyx pan wouldnt stick to the magnets?? So now I'm left with lots of little pans of eyeshadow and no house for them *sigh*

The only time I ordered online was from mscuppycakes because I wanted to get a black label lipstick & jumbo pencil since they didn't sell them where I lived before. Plus ended up paying 4.50 for the BLL instead of the whole 7 buckeroos. I want more lipstick!! My boyfriend thinks my make up addiction is strange hahaha.

Yes I know..mine wouldn't stick in either. I have MAC Palettes for them and I don't know what to do about making them stick either. Currently I just have them in the palettes and they don't really move around much, but I haven't traveled with them yet. I know some people cut their own magnets to make them work, like off the back of a regular refrigerator magnet, but I haven't tried that. I hope someone comments on this and could maybe help us out with this.

I bought a roll of magnet at michaels for like $1.00. That's what I used to get any of my makeup to fit into palettes. I primarily use the ELF elements compacts and I cut off a small piece of the roll for each eye shadow. Works out really well.

I recognized her pic! So she is a good seller? I'm going to be placing an order this week with her for a bunch of lipsticks, glosses, and jumbo pencils!
