Oak Street Store in Chicago

I'm not positive if this news has been posted yet, I'm sorry if it has..but word on the street:

I was at the MAC counter tonight returning B2M and one of the MAs told me that the oak street store in Chicago is becoming a PRO store April of next year!

I guess I'll have to take me a trip to Chicago in April!!! wooo. yay it's nice to know that there will be a pro store in a city I visit on a regular basis.

edit: from what i hear they're putting a new store in lincoln park and i guess that's where it's probably going..but whatever..PRO STORE IN CHICAGO, WOO! lol.

Yey! That is awesome news! Finally a Pro store in Chicago! I've been waiting for ages. I hope this pushes through. I've been hearing they will have a Pro store in Chicago since last year I think. I just wish they chose Oakbrook instead so the sales tax is cheaper.

YAY!!! Finally! I can't wait. I wish it was in Oak Brook too because I like the layout of the store more and it's larger.

I'm also excited to have one in Lincoln Park. That will be perfect. It's a really good place and common sense place to put one (the MA's will probably be uber snotty though. LOL)

Depends on where in MI you live.
I live in the Lansing area..so either city I can get too..I think Chicago maybe be a tad bit closer..

and.....
I think sales tax would be hellabetter in Chicago than Toronto..AND..the prices of products as well.

We just have to hope the sales tax rate increase doesn't go through. They are trying to up the sales tax in Cook County to 11% (I think that is what they said)

Oh gawd. Thank god I live in Will County, but still... I buy EVERYTHING in Cook County. What the hell man!?

EDIT: I don't think it will go through. The commisioner is asking for too much too fast. 30% increase? You've gotta be kidding me.
