Why Mac?? Whyyyyyyy! I am a Mac devotee through and through but there had better be some kick ass replacements for these items coming along soon or else I'm going to have to start using other brands.

i think im going to cry ... i need to go to mac asap and buy like 10 F/C NC45 foundations ...


hopefully theres a reason for this and mac comes out with new foundations and stuff that are wayyy better

Surreal and Signed, Sealed? Why???

As if they were offering such a big choice of shades of green... And Signed, Sealed is such a nice liner (I like it best with Mink Pink which has been d/c ages ago).

Its also making me sad that Chellopink has got to go - it´s looking so nice on my lips, adding colour without being too much.

Eager Lipstick
My mother wears and loves this colour...I'll have to buy her a backup before it's gone.

Skew Lipstick
This lipstick was one of the first MAC lipsticks I owned...for nostalgia's sake, I need to get a tube of it before it's gone

Cranberry Lip Pencil
I had been eyeing this lip pencil, but I don't think I'll miss it that much. I much prefer Beet to Cranberry, anyway.

Surreal Eye Shadow
One of my favourite green-blue shades. I don't wear it that often, but a backup should be in order.

Light As Air Powerpoint Pencil
This is one of the items I'll be glad to see go. I have it, and it's a lovely colour, but I cannot get it (or any Powerpoint Eye Pencil) to actually show up on my eyelids. It does make a lovely base for blue eyeshadow, but any medium-blue liner could do the job. Hyacinth Eye Kohl, here I come!


On another note, on the MAC Pro website, in the lipstick section the lipstick shades Lightly Ripe and Crème Cerise and the lipglasses Cult of Cherry and Jampacked have no LE triangle or "Sold Out" sign next to them. Are they being added to the Pro product roster (or is this just wishful thinking)?

Okay they better be joking about discontinuing the brow shaders !
Thank GOD I just bought one today .
They better come up with a new formula or something because there's no way in heck I'm filling my eyebrows with a pencil .
My Grandma (who I dislike alot lately) lost like all her eyebrow hairs because of them !
The other stuff I don't really know about since I usually stick to LE stuff but I must defend my beloved Brow Shader !

My poor little heart is broken over the brow shaders

I have no idea what in the world I am going to do with out Soft Charcoal, that is after I use up all the shaders I am buying on Friday from my freestanding store. I am going to dry up their whole stock of them.

You have to try the Anastasia brow products. They carry them at Sephora and some Nordies. IMO, they are much better than the brow shaders. I think you will be pleased.

Oh how I wish it were possible, I've heard lots and lots and lots of good things about the Anastasia products but unfortunately they don't make anything darker than brown shade. I have jet black hair and soft black eyebrows so it wouldn't work well for me

I've tried to steer away from the brow shader before, I've just wanted to try something new because it has been only 1 of 3 things I've used for my brows and it just stuck. (the first time I had my brows filled in I was at a MAC counter 5 or 6 years and the MUA used the frost purple that was on my lid to fill in my brows, she claimed this was the trend of the season. I grew a phobia of filling in my brows for a long time.) An MUA ended up showing me the soft charcoal shader after me much resisting to the idea of it and it turned out it was a pefect fit. Unfortunetly most companies do not offer a soft black shade in a powders, so it's a bit sticky because I am not a fan of brow pencils on myself.

All of the mattenes that have ever been released have been limited edition. Which includes the Mattene collection from last year, and the Cult of Cherry ones.

Both. The original mattene collection was all LE (limited edition). The mattenes that came out with Cult of Cherry were LE, as well. Sorry.

There is a reason why you see products on the website longer than in stores. After a collection has launched and then been on the shelves awhile (assuming it doesn't sell out), counters RTV (return to vendor) those LE products back to MAC. Once they are back at MAC's distribution center, they either sell them online or at CCOs. That is why you will generally see a product online or at CCOs longer than at a counter.
