I've influenced my mom very much. Whenever we walk into the MAC store, she can't help but buy up anything shimmery or glittery that she sees.

All of my friends also comment on my makeup, as well, and many of them have bought MAC makeup, based on what I wear.

My mom, because she used to never buy makeup unless it was from Lancome but she has really gotten into MAC lately.

Most of all, my sister. She was the type that never touched makeup. For the past few months she would come into my room and ask me to do her makeup to go out,or take me to the MAC counter to help her pick out colors for her. It really made us bond more. I really thought the big sister was supposd to do the little sisters makeup, but i guess its the other way around

I've managed to get 3 of my closest friends from school to get really ocrazy over makeup in general. Before they met me, they hardly touched makeup but now they are MAKEUP CRAZY! LOL.

But it's just really great, influencing people to like makeup cos then you can just talk about makeup all day with them and they'll get it too! And then there's all the joint makeup sprees when a new collection comes out...

My best friend comes to my room and uses my makeup all the time so she tends to have similar looks as I do...but my greatest accomplishment is convincing my mom to switch from liquid eyeliner (it's the only makeup she ever uses) to MAC's Fluidlines––she hasn't looked back since!

yeah my friends looove all my makeup hahah when they come over we always end up putting it on or giving eachother makeovers. one of my friends is now OBSESSED with tinted lip conditioners, she has all of them, and all the tint toons. my other friend got really into benefit (esp. the gorgeous georgia pallette), because of me. my mom loves the lingerie mac line now because i got the mineral skin finish and today she went and bought the other one and the eyeshadow pallette. i also got my friends into cacharel promesse perfume, a bunch wear it now hahhaa.

Catherine^ who is a user on Specktra got me into Mac, and in fact more interested in makeup. I always wore it before, but was never very creative. Now I have to hold myself back from the brights and be sensible when the occasion calls for it! I'm working on a friend...i think she's about to crack, she's emailing me with her makeup combos and I just know she'll want to visit Mac soon.

LOL,. joytheobscure,. you won't have to work very hard to convert them once they try it,..I buy MK,.. but I really ONLY like their skincare and that is what they are good at,.. as far as their color line,,,. they are trying,.. they recently brought in Robert Jones (works on the Dixie Chicks and Sheryl Crowe) and are really trying to get better,... but I don't see them as being any less "Granny-Colored" (Too many neutral colors and very little accents) in the near future,.. but I must say the Miracle Set Anti-aging does work if you use it,...

But as far as color,.. I have systematically eliminated most other brands and replaced it all with MAC over the past 2 years,.. I now pretty much on have a tiny bit of other stuff,.. like Guerlain's Meteorites,..some Milani, All my True Colors Mica of course,.. etc,.. but I have started to addict my two best friends,... and I help enable another junkie that is a specktra user,.. unfortunately neither of us can help ourselves,.. and I have converted many random people off the streets,.. they compliment me on my MU and I say "Oh,.. its all MAC,..ya know they have a store right down close to the Body Shop" and off that person will run in that direction,...or say something like "I go to the fashion mall alot,.. I gotta get some of that next time". I LOOOVE my MAC. (Shh,.. we wont tell them that 75% of my stuff is all LE)

I influenced my 12-year-old sister. Every time she comes over she wants to look at my m/u and put some on. She even asked for a m/u case for xmas. My mother has been telling me that she wants to stop at the MAC counter and look. She doesn't have the money to buy yet, but I feel like I might be creating a monster. I know how hard it is to say no...lol.

I have friends who would like to become interested in MAC, but cant justify spending a lot on makeup. So i give tips, give them l/g's for gifts and such.

My aunt is into estee lauder & was looking at MAC with me, so i may get her a quad or something...just to get her foot in.

And my sister is always interested in what new thing i have now...i do her makeup for dance recitals & such....shes only 10, but when she gets older & proves herself worthy im sure i wouldnt mind sharing SOME stuff.
