I really like the boldness, for drama or whatever. I like the tip about the vaseline, very tiny bits. Does it grab the colour better?

i apply it on wherever i want the shadow, sometimes ill do the highlighting on the brow bone first and then apply vaseline and then shadow because then all over the lid would be too much.
