Shawna, that is my same problem. And when it comes to politics, watch out! Ugh, it's so embarrassing.

Even in the simplest situations, I often leave feeling like I was inadvertently in a Saturday Night Live sketch.

Successfully[tastefully] wearing brightly-colored eyeshadow, even as a small accent.
In the past, I've tried doing most of my eye design in neutrals, then adding a bright color on the outer corners of upper lids as an accent.
When I put on the bright heavily enough so that it will show up, I panic and think, "EEuw; trashy!", lunge for my blending brush, and end up blending the whole business into muddled oblivion.
I have bright green eyes, so I figure God is trying to tell me, "Carla, stick to neutrals; it's all about your eye color, not your eyeshadow color."
Lately, I've just kind of given up on brights, and have been buying taupes by the truckload.

I have a runaway tongue at the best of times. Most people either love that about me or hate me. Eh, either way, I need to learn to keep quiet in certain situations. I tell myself that I shouldn't say what is in my head and next thing, it just pops out and horrifies people. I tend to have a very dry sense of humour so most people think I am being serious. Scares the crap out of them. I am pretty good here though because I'll type out a rant and then delete it before I post it. Every once and a while I'll post some pretty cheeky stuff though. Speaking of scaring the crap out of people, time to go to work

Same here. I can't get the hang of being nice, sociable, and randomness. For example:

Drive a motorcycle. I was learning on a friends bike, but we broke off our "could've been" relationship when I met my current bf. Funny thing is, he's with a girl who has the same name as me.
