I have skin that is not terribly oily, but does get a little shiny in hot weather (and I'm moving from California to Alabama for school soon, so it'll probably turn really oily then). I've been using NYC's little $2 pressed powder, and it's not terribly chalky, doesn't look yellow on me, and absorbs oil okay. The only problem really is that my skin is slightly tan for summer and so the translucent can look too light on my face. I was just wondering if blot is worth the extra $20-something? I'm not thrilled with the NYC but it's okay for the price, and I'm kind of on a budget, so I only want to invest in the blot if it's going to be a lot better. Also, is blot really warm-toned? Many pressed powders that only come in light-medium-dark shades are yellow or orange, and I'm cool-toned, so I need one that's not.
