Problems with ordering online!

This is the fourth or fifth time now, and it's driving me insane, but maccosmetics.com ALWAYS manages to take my billing address (which I correctly enter) and change the street address and the zip code. Then, I have to call in and they manually reset my address, my orders get delayed for about a week while they figure out their business, and my card invariably gets charged twice for whatever order I make––sometimes sending it into the negative zone, thus getting me charged an exorbitant overdraft fee! I love the convenience of ordering online, especially since Providence doesn't have the best-stocked MAC counter at Nordstrom, but I hate this hassle that's involved with ordering every single time. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've always been able to order without a problem with no billing issues.

Once I did have an issue with my shopping cart, where it would never save any of my items to buy later, but that was a Mac OS issue which they fixed about a week later after a lot of emails back and forth with the technical department.

If MAC's customer service won't do anything regarding your inconveniences with ordering, maybe you should use an actual credit card as opposed to a debit card so you avoid any future overdrafts?

Maybe try opening a new account.
I had this same problem where it wouldn't let me change my billing address. Even though it showed the new one it would change as soon as I went to finalize the order.
I opened a new account and put in all my new info and now I don't have any problems.

I understand not having the option of using a regular CC. I hate them and refuse to use them so I only have my debit.

If you don't want to open an new account with MAC I would call their CS and not get off the phone until they figured out what is going wrong.

Also try doing a live chat.

i've never had a problem with getting billed twice..but it does take forever for them to process my order, ussually 2-3 days....then i have to wait for shipping.

There are some advantages to using a credit card over a debit card such as better/higher fraud protection, the ability to reverse a charge (in case you are charged twice), extended warranties, etc. I do use an Amex charge card to rack up miles. It's due in full at the end of the month, so it is like paying in cash. I figure if I'm spending this much, I might as well get rewarded in some way. Just something to think about.
