Thanks for this info. I recently purchased Zonk Bleu! e/s and it looks really good over Rollickin' so that's a shame but I guess there are so many other blue colours. I'm rather surprised they are discontinuing NC15 as alot of people buy from MAC because they do such light shades. It's making me panic that they'll discontinue NW20 as that's what I use but maybe they're just going to improve the products? Or perhaps they may bring out a special fair-skinned range or something? I don't know, but anyway, hopefully it'll bring more great products

Noo!! Femmer noir and velvet moss have been in my list for ages now they are not on the UK website

It does seem like quite a hefty list. Being new I have to ask, does MAC usually discontinue that many items in one go or is this a bigger than normal list?

all these items are from multiple lists. my counter dc'd femme noir and velvet moss back in october, so that was quite a long time ago. we get lists every few months, and each location gets each list at different times. we dc'd most of the shadesticks back in october as well, but the store 2 hours away still has all of em.

Question to MAC PROS:

How do u find out what is being dq'd from "our" site? I can't seem to find a link to the goodbyes. I tried typing "good-byes" into the search field and get items such as Cleanse off oil (noooo!!! i'm obsessed!!), and Studio Tech foundation among other things, but they don't have the little triangle. I'm driving myself nuts! And then going to the non-pro site for good-byes doesn't show pro products. What the heck?? am i blind or something????

It seems that MAC is discontinuing more items these days.
More shadesticks and even some new reflects glitters have the triangle of death near them!
What about Pink Vivid on the Pro website? It isn't there anymore!

i don't see any of the reflects having the ToD. the only glitter that has it is light green, and thats been there for quite some time.

Yes, Reflects Very Pink and Reflects Transparent Teal have it. They were supposed to be permanent thoough.
However, I don't see Light Green having it. It is a PRO pigment and has the sign for it but no triangle. Where do you see it?

Hummm... I was using the NC43 studio stick as a concealer but the NW35 is cool too tho.

It makes me sad that they are getting rid of Veluxe Pearls. I got Falling Star and Zonk Bleu! today after learning they were getting the axe but I was too late for Flashtrack

Does anyone know what the shade descriptions are for Falling Star or Zonk Bleu!? I know it sounds silly but I like having MAC's descriptions on my Excel sheet.

It says on the site some of the reasons for discontinuing products, some of them are- new things, but also if their supplier doesn't have any more of whatever is needed to make that product...

So... some of the stuff might not be coming back in different/improved form...

DCing e/s's and blushes doesn't really bother me that much... You can find dupes for most of them or use another color instead... But FOUNDATION SHADES?! Why? :s

sorry to be the annoying one, but how can we find out stuff like that?? thank goodness u were here, but does mac put a triangle on everything that's being d/c? or do they ever just pull them off the shelf like evil corporate monsters??

here's my live chat with the mac mua online and here's what she said when i asked about flashtrack being dced

Barbara: I believe Non-Conformist is discontinued worldwide however, you let me get you an email address to confirm. Flashtrack Eye Shadow isn't discontinued, it's just sold out currently

Phew flashtrack ain't dced..... It's one of my favourite e/s to do a navy blue smokey since i don't have Deep truth e/s (and my local counters don't carry deep truth e/s and this e/s is the nearest substitute i can find for deep truth)

arghhhh.....NON CONFORMIST FLUIDLINE DCED. sad!!!

they sell flashtrack in the CCO down here....i thought it was done too lol...but then again they sell velvet moss in there too and that's def. not DCd

We sent our Flashtrack and Velvet Moss eyeshadows back. We were not sold out of them. They are definitely DC'd. CCOs get shipments of DC'd items. Sorry, ladies..

Velvet Moss is DCd. It's off the site. CCOs get DCd, LE and some regular items.
