Prom makeup suggestions?

Well. I'm horrible with makeup, my parents don't let me wear it to school, so I've only worn eyeshadow a couple of times.

What kind of "look" will go well with my dress? Links to tuts would be nice.

I would do the classic bronze smokey eye paired with a nude lip and a peachy bronze blush.

^^ i agree, i would chose a classic look, if you cannot master a smokey eye, even simple black eye-liner would look nice
