i like the newish mac minersal spf15 creme foundation. the coverage is medium but you can add another layer without it looking cakey and that has a dewy finish but feels nice on the skin. i hate foundations that feel like they haven't sunk into my skin if you know what i mean.

i'm also a big fan of revlon colour stay foundation. that is full coverage, reasonably easy to blend and comes in loads of different shades.

Another vote for Nars sheer glow foundation. This stuff is amazing, the only problem with it is that you need to find the perfect shade for your skin or else this baby will oxidize and go streaky on you. I know its soo expensive but the bottle does last a long time, i've had it since december and i'm not even half way done.

I've always consistently bought mac face and body foundation. It is sheer but slightly buildable coverage, it's no good at cover blemishes so i always conceal a little when i use this foundation. I've tried all the mac foundations and this one is my favorite.

I've tried MUFE velvet mat. I didn't like it too much, it's no good for people with dry skin, it made my dry skin feel even tighter and flakey. But i love the full yet natural coverage. MUFE HD is a top 3 favorite of mine but i prefer Nars sheer glow.

Next on my list is shu umeura architect foundation, chanel vitalumiere, and georgio armani silk foundation

Ok, after reading so many reviews,I narrow it down to top 3: NARS sheer glow, MUFE HD, and Armani Silk Luminous. Now I have to choose 1 because I can't afford buying all those 3!

I love MUFE HD, but I think that if you don't like MAC Studio Fix Fluid, you won't like MUFE HD. They work similarly on me, at least.

What kind of skin do you have?

My favourite is BE because its so easy. But when i want something more (and have the energy) i use my MUFE HD. it's oil free, and imo goes on flawlessly. It comes in a wide variety of colours, so you should be good to get a match.
If your very oily i would say try the mat velevt. It is UBER mat though, very vintage looking.

Laura mercier also makes a very nice full coverage foundation.

A new foundation i like a lot is Stila's 1 step foundation. It's primer, foundation, concealer and powder in one. Meaning, 1 step, like the name says (unless you need a lot of concealer). It's fully buildable. It's pure minerals and HD (which is the only one of its kind of the market). It's not "oil free" (cause it has silicone), but you wont break out. It's also UBER water resistant, water beads on top of it. It's got anti ageing properties, and is made with a special type of clay in it. The clay has healing properties to it, so it canhelp to sooth he skin and improve the overall look. I think its in the 40$ price range.

When i tried it, i used a regular foundation brush and just feathered it on wit the tip. It looked really nice, like dolls skin. And it feels VERY light. Every person i try this on buys its.

Great coverage but is light and airy. Can build up if needed. Love it

I have tried so many foundations over the last few months:
Nars Sheer Glow (didn't do anything IMHO, so seemed like no coverage)

A drugstore foundation that others said was a decent dupe for Sheer Glow (don't remember name or why I didn't like it, but I imagine same as Sheer Glow)

Stila Illuminating (liked in morning, but didn't last for me; interestingly, later a Sephora rep told me this has less coverage than Sheer Glow, but I felt it had more?)

Stila One-Step (liked in morning, but become flaky/scaly later in day)

CoverFX (too heavy/cakey, tough to blend)

Hourglass (forget which one) (didn't find that the finish/look justified the price)

Feels like there have more tries in there, but I can't recall them...

I've tried most MAC products at one time or another and ones that I go back to include Face & Body, studio tech, hyper real, mineralize satinfinish; most other MAC foundations cause me to breakout (including studio sculpt and the mineralize foundation (the new compact).

But I keep coming back to MUFE HD (good coverage, lasts all day). I am curious to try to their F&B.

I've been trying to find something dewier for the summer, so I've taken to adding LORAC luminizing to the foundation.
