question about SMASHBOX PHOTO FINISH

I use prep + prime atm, it's great for keeping the makeup on all day but I have large pores on my chins, nose and between the eyebrows that are still visible after i've put on my makeup - does the photofinish primer help covering those up?

Smashbox has more dimethicone than Prep and Prime-which means more spackle-ability if you are older and have wrinkles. (Even at my age, Prep and Prime felt greasy and didn't make my skin smooth like Smashbox) If its heavy for you, Smashbox makes a lighter version.

I use smashbox photofinish primer and I love it! It makes my foundation go on so much easier and looks a lot nicer I think! My Mom uses it sometimes too and she really likes it as well!

Does anyone's skin become oily from this? I'm trying to figure out what's make me feel oily! I've never had oily skin before but now my t-zone is making my foundation slick off!!

It may not be it but I have a feeling it's either this or my clinique face wash/toner/moisturizer!

Soulstar, I have very oily skin (I use a blotting sheet AT LEAST once a day) and I use the Smashbox Photofinish Light. It definitely smoothes out my foundation and makes it last all day but as for the oil control -- I'm still not sure. I've only been using it for about a month now and some days it seems to be excellent (one day I didn't even need to use a blotting sheet!!!) and other days it seems to just work ok. Maybe I haven't yet mastered how to use it but it definitely does not make you more oily

Personally, I would suggest to try out the other options that were posted as they're much cheaper and as a last resort you can pay the extra $$$ to try out the Smashbox

Sorry...QVC is a home shopping network in the US. They have today's special values (tsv) every now and again. When they have a smashbox tsv, they are always an awesome deal. You get a makeup collection for around $50. Its the best deal i've found on smashbox

I absolutly love Smashbox Photo Finish.
This is my routine & I hope it helps you.
- Moisterize
- wait 10 min for moisterizer to soak in
- Apply Smashbox Photo Finish - I personally do not use this every day, I only use it for special occasions-wedding, clubbing, special events, etc
- apply foundation w/ a brush
- concealer where I need it
- set with powder
- spray fix + over face & take a clean brush or stippiling brush & gently press on skin for everything to set
- this works for me & my face looks flawless
let me know how this works for you
*also @ night after I wash my face I do moisterize & use eye cream, ALWAYS wash your face b4 you goto bed

I hope this isn't a repeat question but has anyone tried the new SMASHBOX PHOTO FINISH LIGHT for oily skin? I was wondering what the verdict was on this.
