Recommendation for liquid & powder foundation

Hey I just though I would put in my two cents. I have very similar skin with the oily t zone and dry dry cheeks. First off I would tell you to use a good moisturizer for oily skin everywhere on your face. Its a common moss conception that moisturizer makes you oilier but acctually not moisturizing makes your skin think its dry and needs to produce more oil. So after a few days your oil glands will regulate and calm down. Another rec I have for you is an amazing primer from Jane Iredale. Its called Absence and it is very light but absorbs oil throughout the day. It also helps hide flaws light breakouts and discoloration. For you I would say get the #2 it has a hint of color and would even out your skin tone before you even use foundation. As far as foundation it sounds like you have tried the ones I would recomend first. I would say to try a rice powder over whatever foundation you do use. Its the only one I have used that doesn't cake up when I do get a bit oily and doesn't change color. Hope this helps

Hey! I have revlon photoready & i don't think it will suit your skin type (you could try though). I don't have really dry cheeks but i have combi skin (oily T-zone) & i feel that sometimes photoready gives you a abit of a glowy (which might look like a shine) kinda look! I'm not too sure if you like that, personally because my T-zone is just slightly oily i can get past w/o looking greasy but if you have very oily T-zone you might wanna stay off!

Just my 2 cents worth! HTH! & you make me wanna try the clique foundation!

I've combination skin and oily T zone. The powder foundations that really work for me are MUFE HD Microfinish Powder, MUFE HD Super Matte Loose Powder and MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder.

I use MUFE HD foundation - I love it! It's perfect for light-medium coverage. I mix it with La Roche Posay Toleriane Corrective Fluid (darker shade than my HD foundation) for a better coverage of scars.

THank you everyone for the recommendations!

it's a bit funny, because no one had replied to this thread - so i did sorta just kind of tried different types of foundation out.. and right now i'm really liking MAC's Face & Body foundation set with MAC sheer pressed powder.

I Also tried MUFE Face & Body and I also like that as well.. I think i'd also like to try MAC's mineralize spf 15 foundation.. too!

i tried NARS Sheer Glow Matte, and i didn't like how it looked on my skin.

I think right now i'm going to look for a really good concealer.. so i'll try the recommendations of Jane Iredale! i've been hearing that a lot!

thanks everyone i appreciate all the input!
