I just got two eye shadows from Ulta. They are different than they used to be. Now they have Red Earth imprinted on the top of the shadow and seem to be of better quality. I got Cleopatra(high frosted dark green) and Blue Velvet(bright blue/purple). I will definately get more of these now that they have different finishes and colors.

I bought one of their primers which acted kinda like a color corrector. I liked it pretty well - I've been using MAC's primer and have thought about going back to Red Earth.

I was actually looking to find a product that worked as a primer and a color corrector, so yay!

Currently, I'm using Prep & Prime followed by Bourjois's redness-correcting base, because I like the smoothing aspects of P&P (from the silicones, I believe), but also need correcting. I feel like it's too many layers, and if I could combine the two steps, I absolutely would.

So, I suppose what I am asking is do you think Red Earth's primer has the same sort of silicate pore-filling properties as Prep & Prime, PLUS a color correcting aspect? Because if so, you have absolutely made my week.

Even if it's just a color correcting base, I'll still have my week made, because I am an absolute sucker for 'em.

I came across Red earth and it's website when browsing Douglas' new online shop. They seem to have great products, a nice color selection aswell.

I'm really intrested in the correcting primer aswell. I liked prep+prime but I'm running out. I also bought a MU base by Catrice, wich I find very simular to P+P for only a fraction of that price, but I'd love to have a primer that also does something about my crazy firetruck-red cheeks!

It is however very anoying Douglas is only selling Red Earth products at select store, and not even at the same store they have a MAC counter. The stores carrying RE are, aside from Amsterdam all pretty small city's... I'd love to see the products in person instead of ordering online.

I bought a few of the single eyeshadows and like them. The pigmentation is quite good. Red Earth is found at select Shoppers Drug Marts.

I bought a trio at ULTA. It's the one with the red green and yellow in it. I really like the red. It's a gorgeous rusty-ish shade.

Haven't tried anything else besides...

^ Yeah, when I was around 13 I would buy lip glosses from Red Earth when I actually was in the Esprit store. I liked the glosses, came in so many different flavours and were similar (in packaging) to the Lancome Juicy Tubes. I haven't really been looking around there since, because I always associated Red Earth to Esprit, which makes me think of a cosmetics counter from a clothing store...which turns me off for some reason. Guess I should check it out if you guys like it so much!

Red Earth was founded in Australia and was bought by Esprit later.

I loved their e/s and nail polish. I've never bought Red Earth anywhere outside Australia. They're sold in Esprit and there were also Red Earth stores. I haven't seen them in Esprit stores in Europe so far. I saw them at Douglas and they're SO expensive!

To all you Canadian ladies, Red Earth will not be sold at Shoppers Drug Mart anymore! If there's one near you that's having then at 50% off, it's because they're clearing out the line. The clearout ends at October 10, and then after that Red Earth will be pretty much gone in Canada. It includes EVERYTHING - even the brushes!! Personally, I was sooo disappointed, since my store was completely sold out of the Secret Potion that I've reallllly wanted to try, and I won't ever see it again. ;(

So Canadian Red Earth fans... stock up. You never know when you'll see this line again

I have almost all of the eyeshadows, they're amazing! Extremely pigmented & very creamy if that makes sense. Their blush is similar to the eyeshadow. I have the Secret Potion Skin Illuminator too, it's gorgeous. My favorite thing has to be they're Eye Primer! It's great, I prefer it hands down to UDPP & TFSI. If you go to their website: www.redearth.com it tells you what's in the eye primer, besides aloe & vitamins, it has amethyst, etc.. it's great! I have a few Red Earth eyeshadows & a cream liner pallet that are dupes of what I already have, maybe I should swap them.

I would recommend Red Earth to anybody, it's a great company with amazingly great products! I hope you get some more eyeshadows! They're so nice

I used to work for Red Earth and at the time it was an Austrailian based company owned by the Espirt Co. In select Esprit stores they carried numerous lip, face and eye products along with a great selection of nail polish and lipstick colours. They did have their own stores much like MAC does in larger shopping stores. I know the Eaton's centre in Toronto had one...not sure if it's still there or not. The packaging at the time was similar to mac cosmetics excepts that it was silver in colour. I still have TONS of this stuff and I have to say that the eyeshadows, nail polishes, and lip gloss tubes are my faves. Didn't care much for the mascaras. Cost wise..the eyeshadow pots we used to sell for $10 -$12 CAD. In my opinion I think they were trying hard to become a pro looking line with all their seasonal lines filled with fashsion forward colours, brush kits, skin care ect. ...but I guess they couldn't compete with other brands because I haven't seen or heard much from them in a while.
I personally have never seen or heard of them ever selling their products in any Shoppers Drugmart stores but maybe they did towards the end to clear out some of their overstock. If you can get the oportunity to get your hands on any RE eyeshadows, you won't be disappointed, they are very pigmented and had a wide range of mattes, satins and shimmers. HTH
