For those of you who remember my Nordstrom launch day debacle, here's another update. My Dulles Towne Center store didn't get their shipment of TTT that day but got everything else. We were told we had to just keep calling the store and it would be a first come, first served type of deal. After two weeks they said it wasn't ever coming. I emailed a complaint to Nordstrom.com. Someone addressed it and apologized and said they would forward it to the local store. The store manager called me two weeks ago (on a Saturday...impressive) to apologize. I was busy at the time so she left a voicemail asking me to call her back. I was kind of just done with apologies and had moved on. This past Monday she called again. Then she emailed me and said she had a TTT on hold for me and was preparing to ship it to me! I called and couldn't reach her, so I emailed her back. I gave her my address and told her she could put it on my Nordstrom account. She emailed me back and said she would give me a call after 4 today. I was flying when she called but her voicemail explained how sorry she was for that bad experience and that the lipstick would be sent free of any charges! I finally spooks with her tonight and she explained what happened and said she wasn't trying to make excuses, but that she felt that I deserved to know exactly what happened. She really went above and beyond to make this up to me! She said they take their customer service very seriously and try to right wrongs when they can. A free TTT?! My faith in Nordies is restored!
