Omg! I love me some Siss. I think that was my first MAC lippie! Then I fell in love with Myth.
YES! Its so pretty! I need to reach for Myth more often...so much lipstick, so little time.

During the work day, my time is very limited but I will try to be a contributing member of the Specktra community. As a lurker, I was impressed with the amount of support you ladies (and gents) show each other. I look forward to getting to know you all!

I have to mix mine with something or use liner with it if I wear it. I usually use it more for toning a colour down than for a nude lip though.

Taupe is another very good Nude color. I have to say, Nars has a few good one too ( Pigelle, Dolce Vita, etc...)

The SA recommended I do Viva Glam II w/ Cork and some lipglass I forgot. She said it was her top selling nude.

I'm making notes, ladies, keep 'em comin'. I use Freckletone w/ Hodgepodge.

I really like VG 2, it's probably my most used nude. Going to have to try it with Cork now. :)

Can anyone recommend a matte nude??? i really prefer that texture. thanks in advance :)
Yash, Velvet Teddy or Honeylove.

Though these aren't matte in finish, check them out as well - Peachstock, Pure Decoration, Pure Zen, Freckletone, Siss and Tea Ceremony.

Ignore the heavy make-up for stage, but here's me with Yash (outer corners), Pure Decoration (center) lined with Hodge Podge and NYX San Beige.

Some nude comparisons to help (top left swatches): Exclusive Event, Siss, Yash and Hot Chocolate (LE); (bottom left swatches): NYX Sand Beige, Boldly Bare, Hodge Podge and Stone.

Hope this helps!

Whoa! If that is truly the case, BGRR is off my list, because i have - and like - Double Shot. Wore it a lot last winter. And i should check out Brick-o-la because from Christine's photos, BGRR looks too orange for me, although it looks much cooler on Karen, and like a color i can wear. I like cooler browns.

And I've eliminated Pisces Persuasion liner. Just Cockiness liner for me. Nothin' else from this collection, and if i miss out on that, i'm not going to have remorse. I've got some coppery and rose-gold-y shimmer/metallic/glitter liners.

Dec. 26 is going to be my MAC shopping day - Punk Couture and Magnetic Nude - and i don't even want all that much from them. No way i can do a "No Buy", but i'm gonna try a "Low Buy".
They don't look identical in the comparison swatches. DS is much browner and not matte.

I agree! I remember picking it up last year while looking for a nude lipstick. The MUA at my store recommended it for my skin tone (NC44) and I hate it! I usually mix it with other nude shades to tone it down a bit.
