This is what has pissed me off for a while on here and why I was so worked up with the Fall collection and pushed for the forum to change to private or to be a pay member site but oh well.

I back up because I transition constantly from Missouri to Texas and I like to have some items I use A LOT at both homes. Also, I might get an extra for when I know I am using something LE a lot. Forever Marilyn powder, I use daily in the winter as my setting powder so I got crap tons of it because it is my color.

Im also plotting around the thursday launch in Chicago. My plan was to go to the one on state but a specktra member might have changed my mind. Then theres the one armitage that I have been to before, they might have more quality than the counters but its further from me than the State one. Idk. I was tipped off by a lovely member for the belk launch, but like you ladies said, it was hella glitchy. If any of the Chicagoans have any idea where to go thursday, shoot me a pm. This craziness is distracting me from my studies. Ahhhh!

Every where I have order from this holiday season has jacked with me. JC Penney (the for real one) screwed me over. I bought my daughter an ihome and they sent me a single curtain panel and sold out of the ihome and then tried to tell me I did not order the ihome but that I did order the curtain. I had to fight to even get a refund on it. The other store I bought it from shipped it but it was after 9 when UPS brought it last night and it was $40 more than JCP had it for. Then Gander Mountain had not shipped her coat I bought her on Black Friday so I called and they told me it would not ship until Jan 2. I was soooo mad. Then I talked to a supervisor that said the CSM did not know what she was talking about and that it arrives by Fed Ex today. We will see. So Tractor Supply was supposed to have her boots here last Thursday but they still are not here because of weather but they should be here today. Surprisingly, the tv I got my son from WalMart of all places has been the smoothest transaction so far.

Ugh I know. That is a complete nightmare/ problem with online shopping during the holidays! You get good deals but they are so slow when it comes to updating their systems whether it's the retailer or the shipping service. I did order a watch from macys during the f&f sale which came literally the next day and one the same order had the spanx I'm waiting for which is almost 2 weeks late.. Who knows :shrugs:

Well it hasn't even launched on two sites yet. I guess it's our own choice to stick to the code or not.

We are still trying to stick with the code but some members are still blurting out the sites even the ones it hasnt launched on yet smh Because of this some members have resorted to pm's it's total anarchy lol. I'm holding out hope and sticking with the code though.

Unfortunately we are all a part of the problem here but I will say the only thing I have backed up was Flamingo l/s from AAO and I don't even want it but I dont know how to get rid of it!!!

I love flamingo!! one day it fell out of my purse and later when I was loading the baby in the car I see it in pieces on the ground I had run over it noooo lol I wish I had a backup but oh well. Sometimes I wish I had backed up more items because I was robbed last year and they stole thousands of dollars worth of my makeup. I never really bought back ups I just enjoyed collecting here and there. 6 years of mac shadows gone -_- am hoping to rebuild my collection slowly.

I called my local store and asked about holds AGAIN and the gal told me theres no preselling or holds at their store, either theyre really strict or its who you know.
I'm so torn, I want PB but I don't want to wake up early haha. I thought about just getting All Fired Up which one of the MUA told me they were restocking soon and then at least I can b2m it whereas I probably wont want to b2m any fancier tubes but...I still want PB. My bf encouraged me to go early since its only a 1 day and then I wont regret it later. What a good bf, encouraging me to buy makeup hehe. He also thinks BGRR will look good one me which I want but think it'll look terrible.One of my local MAC girls told me its really flattering for a lot of skin tones and I should just get it...I think she just wants my $$ though haha

AND thanks to the poster who suggested grabbing a MUA right away in the store, I didn't really think about that but I'll definitely do that, great idea!

lol very true ladies please if it hasn't launched on the site yet please don't mention the site name. We have company (lurkers) last night there were more lurkers than members were tipping them off as to what sites to check. I was luckily able to order my Bad Girl RiRi but I would also like to see my other fellow Specktrettes be able to get what they want too before the lurkers get to it first.

I want PB l/s but I'm wondering if anyone has the revlon lip butter in sorbet and thinks it is very similar.. i know the finishes are different but this may have made me think I should just skip it now.  Here is a built up swatch of the lip butter. 

i think its similar not as opaque though. I really feel like mac releases this color alot. I find it to also be very similar to lickable from mac

It was prolly me. lol sorry but its what I was told by their employees. The bloomingdales on Michigan ave told me once over the phone that they would allow more than 1 per lipstick in their store to be purchased...but then when I called again, they said its one per person for the lippes and as many as you want for the rest of their items.
