I went and read the article and looked at the pics and maybe I'm missing something but what did she do? Since her behavior rated and article I fully expected her to be half clothed twerking in the mosque. But she appears to be fully clothed with a head covering and behaving herself.

The pics might not "look" inappropriate to us, but they as well as her behavior at the time were disrespectful to their religion and culture, to them.

Kinda like how people dress up as other races and emulate their culture for Halloween....basically what she did here. They may be gorgeous photos but this was her being an attention whore IMO.

I'm sure many a tourist have committed these faux pas. It can be easy to do the wrong things if your not familiar with the religion or culture so I can let this slide without shaking my head. Now that Pour it video is another story though still smh from that one lol

But the thing is, she's not a "tourist" and didn't do it unknowingly. She knew full well it would push the envelope, and push buttons, and she didn't care. There's no way that not a single person in her camp would get there for the shoot and not know that what they were doing/saying/wearing wasn't right culturally or religiously. She cocky and just doesn't give a shit.

Pretty much what Erine & Richelle said. It's not so much about her presentation but more about her disrespect for another culture. I'm sure she knows better seeing as she was fully covered at the concert and mosque. But the comments she made were inappropriate.
