The newer descriptions on IG for Viva Glam Riri say that the lipstick is a "shimmer,cream and frost finish" all in one (multi dimensional I guess) and the lipglass is a "glitter finish". I'm actually EXCITED about this….we need a shimmery red and a glittery gloss. All the mattes and creme finishes get tired to me. I get more compliments on my lips when I wear good ol' fashioned Creme de la Femme (frost finish) than any other MAC lipstick! The same holds true when I wear my shimmery Nymphette lip glass. Reds are a new territory for me so this will be my FIRST red of both and I'm pumped they are shimmery. Frost makes your lips look huge too!

Hahaha! DO IIIT!!! DO IIIT! I will have to dig up where I saw that description. You can tell from the IG pictures (at least the ones that I've seen) that the lipglass is super shimmery and glittery. A welcome change, IMO. I'm over a matte mouth being everywhere! I do like my Flat Out Fabulous but I put gloss over it….and every time I see someone wearing Nicki 2 or that paled out Riri one, all I can think of is "Sidewalk Chalk Mouth!"

Not a big fan of frosts and red lipsticks. I'm still hoping for a nice rosewood or pinky nude or so for the next VG.
I don't like bright lipsticks but maybe I'll give it a go and look at the VG in person. To be honest, the picture of Rihanna applying the lipstick doesn't look too bad.

Same here. I'm kind of getting buyer's remorse over some of the really bright lipsticks from last spring collections.Not a big fan of frosts and red lipsticks.
