No email or regular mail for me yet. Since they usually look up your account status when u give them your email address, im hoping its the same case with the discount too.Did you not get one in the mail because I am 2 bucks from rouge and I didnt get a vib discount card either.I hope you dont need the card in stores either!
Yea I hope it is as well. I want that discount lolNo email or regular mail for me yet. Since they usually look up your account status when u give them your email address, im hoping its the same case with the discount too.
I find that with most High End stuff, there is a crazy difference in quality between them and something like drugstore products or MAC. My Armani and Chanel lipsticks are much more comfortable than all the lower-end products I've tried, and my high-end powder products are often much more wearable and finely milled. This is not universal, of course. I use a Wet and Wild eye primer and find it works as well as UD, and I have an ELF eyeshadow brush that works fine for lid work. I think it comes down to personal preference, but in my opinion, there is definitely a difference.Off-topic rant lol
Hmm, so since Louis Vuitton, who owns such luxury brands as Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain, Benefit, Fresh and Make up forever, also owns Sephora; does it make the Sephora brand products comparable to the other brands, since it's technically same company thus shared know-how? Same as for L'Oreal owning Lancome, Shu Umera and Maybelline. Or Estee Lauder owning Bobbi Brown, Clinique, La Mer, Ojon, Origins and MAC. Is there really a difference in quality or it's all just about paying for brand name? @_@
You're not the only one. I had no clue that they existed until I read about them here. I am really excited to try the Ambient light palette now. I just hope they show up on my brown skinI feel weird cause I think Im the only one who hasnt tried the Hourglass ambient powders lol I guess I will go test them out today lol!!!! Thanks ladies!
Yea I have tried the primers but never the powders! You're not the only one. I had no clue that they existed until I read about them here. I am really excited to try the Ambient light palette now. I just hope they show up on my brown skin
Thanks, I guess I will just need to try lots of stuff to see what works best. I never tried armani or chanel lipsticks, but the medium/low end stuff I tried were just ok, so I definitely have to give them a try! =)I find that with most High End stuff, there is a crazy difference in quality between them and something like drugstore products or MAC. Sephora samples have been the way I've gotten to try lots of stuff. I got a sample of the Korres Greek Yogurt Sleeping Facial, which I never would've tried, and I ended up loving it (despite the price tag). I also got to try YSL Touche Eclat, which I want, but I can't quite spend that much money on an eye brightener yet. I'm annoyed with myself now that I have a large collection of MAC lipsticks, because they take so much more prepwork than my high end stuff. I think the best mid-range company is Urban Decay for variety and amount of colors available. I love their eyeshadows and lipsticks. Thanks, I guess I will just need to try lots of stuff to see what works best. Yeah, definitely, I love their samples I tried YSL Touche Eclat but it looked kinda cakey, maybe I applied too much, need to try it again next time. Do you set it with powder?Sephora samples have been the way I've gotten to try lots of stuff. I set it with a little of the Chanel loose powder, but I think any one would work. I always use powder over my makeup though. It didn't look cakey on me, so maybe you could try just a little bit and see if it works. I've been wanting to try the Kat Von D Spellbound palette, but I want so many palettes this year! The only one I'm 100% decided on is Vice 2.Yeah, definitely, I love their samples I tried YSL Touche Eclat but it looked kinda cakey, maybe I applied too much, need to try it again next time. I love Urban Decay, great eyeshadow palettes, I got quite few I also got two Kat Von D chronicle palettes and though extremely pretty, the eyeshadows have too much glitter fallout. But the book style looks great on shelf, I'm a sucker for packaging ;P
Try the Kat Von D palette in store to see if you will like it. I have these two from her:I set it with a little of the Chanel loose powder, but I think any one would work. I will try it in the store when I get a chance. I had a palette from her years ago, but it shattered in the move. I think I'll try the foundation too, to see if it can cover up some of my acne scarring.Try the Kat Von D palette in store to see if you will like it. I have these two from her:

and all the shadows are more glitery than UD shadows and have more fallout. But the color payoff is great, but it feels like the colors are too much for daywear, no matte colors at all. If you don't have any of her palettes though, go for it, its great for a night out
Whats your foundation in MAC? Im NW45 and I also want Day Dream but afraid it wont show up on my skin tone.@BabyDzz I hope so to I can wait to get Coeur Battant and day dream.
