I'm in a similar situation, the happy ending hasn't happened for me yet though, but I'm seeing this guy I met at work, the first week that I was there he was so friendly towards me, he was sometimes the only one that would say hi to me when I worked with him and he would ask me how I was doing, or if something was wrong with me when I was quiet around him, he's just a really sweet and cal and charming person, we clicked instantly, we've got a lot of things in common, I mean, what I'm trying to say is that we get along really good and we're both on the same level, I could tell there was some chemistry between us when we met but I didn't act on it because I had a boyfriend I was trying to break up with at the time, but he sure did, he talked to me every single time we worked together, none of the other guys would stay around and talk to me like he did, later, as we got used to each other and got to know each other a little he started flirting with me, and he asked me about us going out, and I told him I was talking to somebody already and he just said "oh, ok, I'll talk to you later then" we still talked like we were close friends, I started thinking about him a lot and how cute and sweet he was, I heard a girl next to me when we were working together tell him he was sexy and the first thing I thought was "he sure is" lol, I knew then I had feelings for him, and he was gone from work for a couple of weeks one day and no one knew where he was and they couldn't get ahold of him, but he came back one night and said he had a little trouble and he was coming back the next night to work and my manager yelled to him loud enough so that every could hear that "Christy likes you" and she said he just laughed, and I walked off as fast as I could, the next night he was like "I heard you've been asking about me" lmao, I asked everybody at work why he wasn't coming in and where he was at and I guess somebody told him I kept asking about him while he was gone, well, he got my number on the same night we kissed for the first time, it took 2 weeks for him to get ahold of me after that because he got my cell phone number wrong when I gave it to him but I told a girl thats a friend of his at work to give it to him for me and she did, we don't work together anymore, but I got a text from him the next morning while I was working and he wanted to see me after I got off from work, he told me he missed my smile and he hadn't seen me since we last worked together, it was so sweet, after work he picked me up after a little teasing from our 2 managers as I walked out the door and he took me back to his house and I met his mom, we went back to his room and he turned on a movie and we started kissing and one thing led to another......so yeah we did it, lol, and I saw him again on christmas eve, the first time after we met he sent me a text and asked me did I have a good time and I told him yeah and he said he was glad, we kept in touch and checked on each other after that, he even came to see me at work for 30 minutes one time, he was out buying a birthday present for his step-dad, so we're still close but we're not dating yet because I think he wants to see where it'll go first, we text each other more than we see each other because we just can't find a way to meet, I don't have a car either yet, but he has said he wants to try and make more time for me when he's not working so in my opinion yeah, I think it usually does work out if you get along before the sex happens, if you just want the sex and you don't really talk to each other that much then you probably won't hear from each other again, but me and him, there's a deep bond between us as corny as that sounds but I'm happy when I'm around him and we both care a lot about each other, and I always get this feeling when I'm around him that he's very very protective of me and even though we're not dating he doesn't want me seeing any other guys, so I can see something happening between us sooner or later
