Though I love the paint pots, I have to say I get the best color payoff with the shadesticks.

I find the shadesticks a little dry to blend pigments over and on me they dont hold the colour very well. The paint pots do tend to crease a bit more, but I get better colour payoff with them and much less fallout when blending pigments over the top.

Shadesticks..I have to say. I just brought some last month and I'm so in love with them. Easy to use and the color payoff I get is awesome. My fav is Corn a friend of mines gave me hers and Beige-ing is my new muse. The paints are OK but to messy for me.

Coming from an avid user of shadesticks, I prefer the paint pots. Easier application for me, as well as being a better base for the eyeshadows to be laid down ontop of. I've realized that the shadesticks are too glittery and make my colour application a little blotchy and they seem to pull on my lids.

I still like my shadesticks but I am rapidly falling hard for the paint pots.

I love the shadesticks! They go on easily and they dont crease. (at least on me they don't) They make the shadow color so bright and vibrant!

Does anyone use these products over UDPP? I am a hardcore PP user, but I have dark lids and am looking for something that will help my lighter e/s colors pop more.

The other day I wore UD cream e/s in white lightening under my MAC shadows, and it worked great... but I really don't dig glitter. So I'm wondering if I need a lighter neutral shadestick, paintpot, or even a CCB? Any opinions on this?

I need something that will be compatable with the UDPP.

I don't like the shadesticks. They are actually going to be discontinued.
Not sure if something will replace them and lots of paints (tubes) are being discontinued too...

I haven't tried paint pots or shadesticks. I LOVE paint tubes. They are a fabulous base.

I was a great worshipper of shadesticks, but revert to paint pots now. My broken shadesticks won't mend and they dry our easily !

So true! This is why I stopped using them.
The mechanism won't work anymore and they shrink in the pen...
Unusable.

I heard somewhere that a few years back they shadesticks used to be of a much better quality...

My favorite is also Paintpots.. I NEVER had problems with them creasing.. and the colors blend well over it. I like the paint sticks but it tends to be a bit difficult for me to blend over it, and the color wears off faster on me.
