Sold out Barbie items

now say "coming soon" instead of "sold out". Do you think they are getting more stock in? Only the makeup items say this, the dolls, shirts and bags all still say "sold out".

It sold out fast! The Pearl Blossom beauty powder sold out in a day at MAC site. I am not surpised they are gonna get more in.

Well, I missed out on the Rocking Chick lipstick. Not sure that I can wear the color, but for some reason, I have to have it, so restocking would be great!!!!!

When I contacted LiveChat last week, they told me (kind of snottily, too) that the Barbie collection was LE and therefore when it was sold out, it was sold out. But I noticed the "Coming Soon" on the site, too, and wondered if a) she had it wrong or b) they changed their minds?

I was very specific with the LiveChat lady, too, and told her my question was about the cosmetics, not the shirts/doll/accessories.

i think they will definitely release more and perhaps even send more shipments to counters. it sold out so fast... there is a high demand, why not make more money on formulations that already exist?

also-

i have a makeover appt on march 10th with mac @ macy's in poughkeepsie, ny. i've been wondering why they would have their BLM makeover weekend so far away from the release date? it would only make sense to restock the items for awhile and keep the campaign going.

My makeover is scheduled for March 1st. The girl told me to wait to buy everything that day, good think I know better than that, lol. I might pick up a couple of backups on the day of my appointment if they have anything left.

That is interesting that items that said "sold out" now say "coming soon"... and not all of them. The doll doesn't, which makes sense.
They have other times re-stocked LE collections so I bet this is true...

There's a good chance that the restocking idea maybe true. My first day as a freelancer will be this Saturday at a Barbie Loves MAC event for my counter. I have no idea if they're getting a new shipment in for the event but I know they're almost sold out of everything from their regular stock.

Most stores/counters seem to be having their events this weekend and some even next weekend so I doubt MAC would leave them without any products to sell their customers.

they definitely must have anticipated how big this collection was going to be, so its safe to say they probably are re-stocking. i know i hope so. i missed out on the beauty powders

WOW! It's a good thing you didn't listen to the M/A!!! You would've been shit outta luck! This collection sold out so fast it makes my head spin (not that I thought it wouldn't)! At least if they DO have some more BLM items, you'll be able to get backup's,like you stated

I just went online and saw a lot of "coming soon" rather than "sold out" - how awesome! I guess having a collection available for 3 days just didn't cut it

It looks bright and little intimidatig but it's gorgeous! I'm more of an earthy/neutral lip person and I'm in love with it. I think the lustre finish helps it not be too intense. I'm going to get a couple backups.

It's even prettier with Malibu on top.

On Tuesday I was told by the MUA at the 5th Avenue Store that they placed another order and that I should check back w/her.

I noticed that the Macy's on 34th still has merchandise, the only thing I noticed they were out of is th FAB blush.

Where are you getting your backups? It is sold out every where online, my counter is out of them as well. I don't want to pay the ridiculous prices on ebay as of yet either. Actually it isn't so much the price on ebay it is the ridiculous outrageous shipping charges that ebay sellers are charging.

Oh, I knew better than to wait. I was shocked when I realized how late the event is being held anyway. I am excited though, I have never had a makeover before, so I am hoping that I learn lots!
