Sometime I think the nude lip/dark eye look is getting

Neutral lips are a good balance for smokey eyes. I think that anything darker than that may make you look overdone.

I never do nude lips, I have very pigmented lips and I prefer just some lipbalm, I look dead when I don't have some lipcolor

I am NC43 and i think can get away with abit of smokey eye (not too much) and a medium/dark lips. Though thanks to finding a good concealer i can now do the smokey eyes and nude lips look as my face doesn't look dead cos of eye circles.

I would for an evening look - dark eyes dark lips. But I wear smokey eyes during the day as well and dark or med lips are too much for day IMO, on me at least.
