If you are interested in this quad, it doesn't hurt to call or visit your Nordie's counter. They often do pre-sales of exclusives. You just give them your info and credit card prior to the release date and they ship it on the day off release.
I was at my Nordie's this weekend and I saw the quad!
They just had it laying out on the counter with a little sign advertising it.
I was excited at first but theN I swatched the colors on my hand and was not too impressed. I am not a fan of the yellow and I already have satin taupe.
I don't have Satin Taupe yet, so that's a plus of this quad. Also, when I was at Nordie's I swatched the yellow in person and I love it. It's very pigmented, and I'm really excited for the release.
I am going to get the quad! It looks nice now that I keep staring at it, lol. And I really dont like Chrome Yellow, so this yellow in the quad might work out. Unfortunately, I have to pay S&H due to there being NO Nordstrom's in NYC. (WTH?)
There is one in the westchester mall in white plains if that helps

my friend who works for MAC via Nordstrom called me in a frenzy tonight to tell me about this new exclusive palette (aka Stowaways) and she said that the yellow is totally awesome - not like goldmine or cy or anything and that the stores are getting very limited quantities of them, in fact her store only got 18 (she is in denver)- 9 are available for pre-order, and 9 will be first come first serve, offered at the appreciation night for Nordstrom cardholders. Oh and she said the white color (awash?) is kind of gold shimmery white. haha if that makes sense. But now that she described the colors I think the white and yellow will go together well..so anyways, if you want one I think pre-ordering is a good idea. I know we all want to vomit looking at the swatches but I'm guessing the artists at MAC are smart enough to know what colors go and which ones don't, so it must work out somehow...right?

Sorry if it's been said, but I wonder if Awash is supposed to be the reincarnation of White Wheat we've been looking for? All I really want is Crest the Wave, but another WW can't hurt!

Speaking of insane - I'm wondering what kind of relationship this frost yellow may have with...yes...you guessed it Parrot eyeshadow...hmmmmmm?
I bought the Corn shadestick for this purpose to play up Parrot.
I'm also wondering how Crest the Wave will do playing up and/or highlight a black smoked eye?
