^^^I think they are glued in because I tried to pry them out and they wouldn't just pop.
I wore this quad (with the exception of sea cadet) to work today and I got so many compliments. I thought the yellow would be too much, but it was perfect. It was definitely worth it. I'll be trying sea cadet out this week sometime.

The shipping is $8 for the quad! Can someone tell me if this quad is worth it? I am mainly interested in the yellow eye shadow. I really want this but I keep going back & forth.

IMO I think it is completely worth it! I love the yellow. I have worn it a lot since I got it on Thursday. But, it is up to you.

Could someone tell me what the blue shade is like in terms of finish and what it compares to in terms of other shadows? If I can justify the need for the dark blue, I can justify buying the quad.

Coachkitten- I don't think you will regret it. I haven't used the quad yet, but from swatching it i can definitely say that I love it! I am a huge fan of the yellow e/s!

Its more pigmented than going bananas imo. Its a bit darker than going bananas but is definitely not as intense as chrome yellow. I would say it falls in between the two.
Perhaps i will actually open the palette and do some swatches for you all tonight

did any canadian ladies see this quad at your counter? i think someone mentioned that it would be release in the bay, but none of the counters i called even know about the quad

lol, I became so disinterested after remembering I have Going Bananas that I never even thought to look out for it. I don't recall seeing it near the NN display at 3 different counters I've been to tho, so perhaps we didn't get it after all?

nope, it wasn't released in Canada AFAIK. But we do get the July Nordstrom exclusive at the Bay (last year was Novel Twist, this year is Colour Forms)

This quad seemed very boring and ill-organized at first but when I swatched it at the Mac counter in Nordies @ Michigan Ave. I loved the white goldish color!!! Awash is soo gorgeous - the other colors are boring-ish - the yellow is also pretty but I have Going Bananas and Bright Sunshine so I am going to pass this quad - Do you guys know if there's a good dupe for Awash?
