exactly! I personally think that wearing bases ruin some of the vibrant colors (especially highly pigmented ones...)
but I have to wear a base when i wear parfait amour. The color is so gorgeous in the pot, but when applied without a base, it looks boring and dull.

Well i wish i could wear e/s without a base like you, but it's impossible for me, they just crease like mad.
Wish i could somehow change my eyelid's 'skin type'!!
