Oh that's definately why. Layering the colors would definately have that affect. I think the teal looks pretty vibrant on you as it is. I prefer the CCBs as a base as opposed to the paints... the paints go on pretty dry and I have a little more difficulty really "packing" the color on over it. With teals I use MAC CCB in Pearl or Too Faced's First Base and they come out very vibrant. And I always "pack" the color instead of sweeping it on.

im going to have to try CCBs, cos im not a fan of the paints. Ive had bare canvas for probably a year now and this is the 2nd or 3rd time ive used it! they are quite dry, and dont really make much of difference... so i'll have to try that! thanks heaps for the rec.

This is too funny! The other day I picked up the olive pallete for the same reasons. But your FOTD looks much better than what mine did.

if you are looking for a primer, i def recomment the UD Primer Potion. The first time I tried it I didnt notice much of a difference (maybe cuz I was wearing like goldbit and new vegas lol)... but the first time I used it with a brighter color it looked amazing... it makes the colors super vibrant w/o having to apply a crapload of layers... and im gonna go along with everyone... w/ or w/o the makeup, u are a gorgeous girl!!!
