The MAC Essentials?

Well if you want the most bang for your buck, go for the Urban Decay Deluxe shadow box. It's $36 US. Also get her a set of basic brushes-they don't have to be too fancy. Maybe go to a CCO and get her some MAC sets. Get the face set, the basic, and the eye set and give them as presents to her. You don't have to do it all at once though. Then go and get her a couple of Lancome eyeshadows when they have GWP going and give that to her.

Those are just a few ideas. Also for lipgloss, some cheap-but-good is the good ol' CO Bigelow Mentha lip shine. Also VS' Very Sexy ones are really good for $12. Avon is a good way to go too if you want to get her a ton of stuff, because they have the Outlet catalogues.

As far as MAC essentials go, I suggest getting three shadows-Goldmine, Beautiful Iris, and Crystal Avalanche. Get her a tube of mascara. The Cool Heat slimshines are definitely worth every penny.

Yeah, you're right the Urban Decay shadow box is pretty nice!! Gawd you girls are giving me so many options.. but it's okay, I love you for it.

you know on that same site they have a HUGE palette of colors that got lots of good reviews on youtube!! I think I might get her one of those as a starter and some shadesticks! (Plus a couple of other things that I must narrow down, but that is really a bang for the buck if those videos aren't lying!)

you should just get her stuff that accentuates her beauty (atleast thats wat i think a 17yr old girl should wear)
so here r my two cents

a peachy pink lipgloss
a mlbb lipstick
blacktrack fluidline-a must
and loreal mascara (i really like drugstore mascaras)
if she absolutely needs coverage then a tinted moisturiser
and a creme blush for the healthy youthful flush something like blossoming or ladyblush

or you could give her a mac giftcard
