LOL no i don't think i was a smart 5 year old. It's just that i do remember some stuff i did when i was 5 and like i places i went (hollidays) besides i study infant/child developmental cognitive psychology. I have learnt from that that people do tend to understimate children.

Wouldn't witnessing that kind of behavior perhaps influence the child's behavior? Like when little kids hear other people swearing and start doing it themselves? I don't know if the kid is going to go down on little boys, but I don't see how it can't be influential

Totally. I just don't think that at 5 they're able to really grasp what exactly is going on. Depending on how long she'd been doing this kind of stuff though, it may've just become second nature by that time, which is an even scarier thought.

[FONT=&quot]Exactly - it’s not like she’s 17 (though there is no justification for that whatever age). But at 37 you should have learnt a lot of life lessons, and grown up considerably. This reeks of teenage self-absorbent behaviour. She doesn’t deserve to be called a mother – she hasn’t earned that title. I hope those kids are never returned to her even if she makes all efforts she can to redeem herself – maybe then she will realise that actions have consequences.

absolutely 100% that behaviour would effect the child's behaviour. the reason there are 7 year olds out there calling their mom's/sisters B****'s is because they have heard someone say it. I was shocked when on supernany a 7 year old calls her mom that! shes only 7!. So yes it is influential, she might think its ok to go down on boys because 'mommy used to do it'. But she must know that private bits of the body are private and was shocked to see what mom was doing to the guy. Hope this makes sense

This is an all-time low. She should be put under the jail. I hate to see kids exposed to this kind of stupidity and harm. It's sick and sad.

There are cases of children of young primary school age messing around with each other (not anything like full sex though). I dont know whether they saw it from their parents, from something like TV - but it shows that children mimic the actions of adults, even though they know nothing about the acts or whether its right or wrong (for them).
To a lesser degree: I was told i used to say b*llocks when i was 3 - as it was something my dad said. I wouldnt have known what it meant or that i shouldnt have said it at that age, but it didnt stop me copying him.
