Hi meka!
Too late Med, too late!
But here it is!
The reason for the whole look was an e/s I got recently that's quite complex. It has a plummy base with blue and pink glitter and I was dying to try it out in a look.
So I did my normal base -
Face: EL BB Cream with Mac Mineralize loose, concealer, At Dusk Blush and Lighscapade highlighter
Eye: Catrice Plum Plumes all over the lid (prepped with UDPP and TF Glitter Glue). Even though I used the Glitter Glue I had fallout over the face but I wasn't too phased about that - I did my face after I did the complete eye look and a lot of cleaning up! (Take that glitter!!!) I used my old, old OLD beloved palette from Red She Said (Cool Eyes) and used a light lilac to smoke the plum out and a very dark indigo for the crease/outer v/ lower lash line. I lined my upper lashline with a dark blue liner and used lots of mascara (yes, @aradhana, it's the waterproof version and nothing smudges or flakes!).
Lipstick was Huggable Out for Passion. I LOVE that lippie! I hope MAC brings those Huggables back next year!
That sounds gorgeous! What movie did you see?
I spent the whole afternoon depotting a lot of Mac e/s. Now I've two new palettes! I like!
this is beautiful!
this is beautiful!
I just saw a video of a girl doing a wing, and instead of having it go up like this " / " she did hers straight out... kinda like this ---- It looked good, but hard to explain. I'll find the video.
I don't hate my hooded eyes. But I don't like the tutorials out there b/c almost everyone is doing it on "regular eyes" and it is hard to "see" how it should translate on my eye....
As always, you all are rocking the looks.
I just watched it Pretty. I love her candorhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88frKwGfFos
Here it is... tell me what you think.
I posted a few links specific to the hooded lid yesterday. Check them out. I watched the one from Pretty and it's super easy!!!With a frying pan!
thanks for posting that video!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88frKwGfFos

Good practice for smokey eye week Aradhana, and it sounds so awesome!!!!! What's your preference, liquids, gels or pencil liners?today i wore a simple smokey look:
- winged black eyeliner
- l'oreal infallible eyeshadow in hourglass beige, all over upper lid, almost up to brow
- showgirl (deep silvery blue) on upper lid
- legendary black to depend outer third
- raven kohl liner to lower lashline
- black mascara (l'oreal miss manga)
- pleasure model edb buffed into apples of cheeks
- magnetic appeal to lightly highlight orbitals
- chestnut lip pencil
- tribalist lipstick (from style warriors collection)
There was a period of 6-7 years when i was in college/university where i transitioned from daily pencil eyeliner to liquid eyeliner, at first one that was the wand type, then to a cake liner with separate brush where you add water to. The cake with separate brush gave good control (line thickness, opacity), but i think i got bored of liquid liner since I was wearing it every single day! So once i finished it, i just stopped altogether wearing eyeliner for several years. The best I did was with the black eyeshadow in the YSL Fétiche palette.
