Although Sunpepper looks interesting...

I agree with you guys also...Those colors look way way waaaaaay too similar to the ones I already have...Ughhhh mac mac mac I want big and bold drag queen colors!RIGHT NOW!So at least that helps me out with my pigment haul a little.

You guys know what I think mac did...I think they made ALL of the pigments from she shines, lingerie, sweetie cake at the same time and just changed em all just a tad bit. What do you think?Less work for them.

So now I only have my eyes on the following...

Pigments
Shimmertime - soft baby pink
Dazzleray - sunny golden peach
Golder's Green - sea-green with gold pearlized pigments
Azreal Blue - cool soft blue w silver pearlized pigments
Night Light - smokey olive green w gold pearlized pigments

Sunnydaze - soft apricot-taupe w silver pearlized pigments
Sunpepper - deep rosy taupe w silver pearlized pigments
Rose - (repromote)
Frost - (repromote)

I guess at this point the pigments they are cranking out are pretty close,.. but since they are a good texture to use on straight on the face and not just eyes I don't mind so much getting them. All my other pigments are pure mica and too grainy for much use straight on the face, but I do think they need to rethink the whole being assimilated into the whole Lauder-Neutral scheme of things. Is it too much to ask that they balance a collection,. a few stunners to please us disco-ball show girl queens and a few nice neutrals for those who are a little less frivolous? And I agree with the cutting edge,.. I don't expect to see it with every collection and of course,.. makeup has been around so long that it is hard to come up with truly new concepts,. but the different stuff is getting fewer and father in between. If they are having such trouble with new,.. then maybe they should step up repromoting the oldies but goodies? Can you say Flash of Flesh and Pleasureflush??? Maybe a collection of only repromotes that were the biggest sellers?? Well I shall just keep my fingers crossed,.. if they keep this up though,.. my pocket book will start being a lot happier each month.

truer words have never been spoken.. i'm honestly getting a bit bored with the collections.. everything looks the same =/... it's disappointing cos i KNOW they can do better.. what happened to the cutting edge, trend setting MAC??

I don't know, I have been wanting a true girly pink pigment for ages. All Girl was the closest thing, but I want a color in between Pink Freeze and Swish, or like Cool Pink but with some shimmer. This new pink piggie looks awfully pale, but maybe with some mixing medium it can work.

Dazzleray looks disgustingly close to Lily White and about 5 other neutral pigments. It's like Naked, Fairylite, and Provence--sure, they're all a LITTLE different, but come on.

And two new greens, both with gold shimmer? ARGH MIX IT UP A LITTLE! The light spring green one looks like it has some promise, but we already HAVE a green pigment with gold tones.

I think it's just sad. I used to love and adore mac. Have every eyeshadow every lipglass everything evermade from them.

The it hit. I started getting the same colors. Over and over and over. But with different names. The quads didnt even wow me. They were a grave dissappointment actually.

Ladies-I hate to say it but the MAC we used to all love is no more. The EL Monster has it in its clutches-so just start enjoying the repetition.

exactly. there comes a point when you have so many colors u can't justify buying this or that cause its different. its sad. that happened to me and sweetie cake. i didnt buy any lipglasses. i was so upset..lol. and i had to struggle to get the quad..even that didnt thrill me. every color in it is basically the same as colors that are out. and gold dusk pigment? i have like five things that are identical to this. lets hope lure gets us out of this lul

We have to start a letter writing campaign to mac. They need to bring out some crazy colors, the only one i like so far is Golder's Green. The others are too similar.

Wow, I was so looking forward to this collection and now I am completely unimpressed. Golder's Green looks like a cross between Golden Olive & Kelly Green; the rest are just blah. Can't they do even ONE bright, wild color?
