Oh bless her heart. What a sad situation.

But I'm glad the staff is allowing her time to grieve properly. Yes, I believe many animals can have the same feelings humans do (and we are animals, no less.) I remember how offended I was when someone stated "Animals don't have souls."

That's a terrible thing to say, why shouldn't they have souls? just because they can't speak and think like we do doesn't mean that they don't suffer when something like this happens.. I remember a thread someone on here posted a while ago about Christian the lion..that was a beautiful demonstration of an animal's ability to feel love toward a human being..

Geez poor poor mommy. Just goes to show how close we are to them. I just hate them being tested on although I know we need the medications , I just wished there was some other way....... I love all animals. Have they been able to take it away yet and find a cause of death?
