To contour or not to contour?

I contour my face every single day, mainly cause I don't like my shaped face and features...

I use sculpt and the angled blush, I contour the hollows of my cheek, my jawline, plus my nose. I'm asian and I like my nose bridge to appear higher so I'll put one finger across the length of my nose as a guide and then just contour the sides. Sometimes I'll use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to contour my nose too.

I TRY to do it every day but I'm still in the processing of getting it down right Sometimes I do it too heavy and when I get into my car, I notice I look like a clown. So then I run back inside and wipe it down some -.-

That's a good idea! When I contour my nose, I have a hard time making the bridge appear thin and straight. The bridge of my nose has a very bizarre shape to it.. maybe I should use a finger or some other object to block off the contouring, just to keep the edges clean. Hmm.

I haven't done this much, but I would think a finger or a brush handle would work fine.

I just started contouring. I use harmony blush which seems to be a good color for me. But, I'm not really sure it makes a difference. It seems to dissappear halfway through the day and is starting to seem kinda pointless =/

i've recently gotten into contouring and i love it!!

i contour everyday now, i use a contouring palette i got from ebay (i didnt want to invests yet until i knew it suited me, and everything cheap is orange) It's pretty good, its got 2 contour shades, and 3 highlights, similar to the cs one, but different
i recently bought a mac 109 (previously using an angled contour brush from smashbox) and today i got the infamous 165

i contour my nose with the smashbox brush that's a wannabe 227
the contour palette has a light contour shade that i like blending the contour out with. It's an okay palette, i'm waiting to get the ben nye one

I contour if I'm going out at night and am planning on taking pictures. It really does help in pictures. I don't do it during the day because it's too much for me. I prefer blush during the day and contour + blush at night (sometimes i'll highlight as well). I contour with a matte shade.

I sometimes put some bronzer underneath my chin and on the sides of my jawline because it reduces the appearance of a double chin. Works for me!
