Paradiso so I can figure out if I need it!

OK will try this one today. Yesterday I tried Summer Fling and unfortunately was underwhelmed. Maybe it was because I had to be up and out of the house by 7:30 am on a Saturday

, but it was rather MEH. Pretty but not worth the $$.

ETA: Tried Paradiso and loving it so far! I typically gravitate towards colors like this.

I wanted to clarify my comment on Summer Fling. It is pretty on, but it is also highly dupable IMHO. I know that I have several products just like this. That is why I think that I was so disappointed initially. I like the feel and slip of this formula.

To answer your question that you asked before about the shimmer/glitter--out of the five I got--they ALL have some level of sparkle in them. I am hoping to have my review up later today/tonight (it's been a really busy week), but a quick overview, In The Buff and Summer Fling have the most noticeable glitter. It's not quite as apparent in Sweet Spot and hardly visible in Paradiso. Pink Dune is a little different. The shimmer is very, very fine, and it has an almost frosted, metallic-y finish. I didn't realize this until I was testing them. I just know you said that you didn't want any if they had shimmer/glitter, so I thought that I'd let you know.

I swatches all of these this weekend and came home with Bittersweet. At first, I was a bit underwhelmed by it, but in natural light, it was a nice, glossy brown. Not too dark, not too blah or neutral so as to suck the colour out of your face. I think it will be nice with a more dramatic eye, because most nudes just wash me right out.

From what I have seen in person a lot of these shades are dupable. I recommend checking "the stash" before ordering.

The formula feels luxurious though.

These lip color/conditioner from Tom Ford seem similar to the Armani Rouge Ecstasy range, but with an edited shade selection (which I appreciate) so I ordered Pink Dune, Paradiso and Sweet Spot.

Was about to order Incandescent & Sand Dune nail varnish,
but can there be much difference between a $32 and $8 bottle of polish, besides the packaging?
Can anyone speak to this?

I can definitely write a few words about Tom Ford nail polish formula since I own almost all of their nail polishes.
The quality is not consistent across this range, some may be streaky and difficult to apply. Some may turn out to be very good quality. But I haven't find any of them being close to my favourite nail polish formulas such as YSL, Burberry and Giorgio Armani, Armani being the best and backwards in this order, Burberry's formula is very close to Armani but unfortunately the brush is not that good. Overall I find Tom Ford's quality close to Chanel and Dior, if it is a good one and worse if it is a bad one.

That said, I haven't tried the spring nail polishes yet. I will report again when I do so but the coral and pink ones seem sheer, it seems bloggers liked the nude and the metallic one, yesterday I have seen a good review on Make-up Magpie: http://www.makeupmagpie.com/2014/02/tom-ford-spring-2014-display-images-and.html

I am also waiting for deep down review of Jenny.

I just ordered Pink Dune as well........but I have my fingers crossed that it's not reminiscent of what retirees wore in Florida in the 1980s or so.

Wish I could see them in person!

I tried it on two weeks ago and I did like it a lot. I came home with bittersweet that day. If I had not purchased another cle de peau and two guerlain lippies that day I would have bought pink dune and summer fling as well. Pink dune is a lovely pink beige. I really like the texture of these. Still am debating summer fling!

Thank you SO much Sara! Have had my eye on those Armani polishes. So I ordered the 3 Armani nudes (100, 101, 102) and if I like those, the 700-colors will have to come home. Have enough rose-gold polishes to skip Incandescent, but still want it.. I have a weakness for Rose Gold.

A bit off topic, but does anyone have Spanish pink and can give me feedback on it? I have been hemming and hawing over it for the past few months but there are no tom ford counters around me. I am shade 4.5 in Armani Luminous Silk, 02 in Guerlain LDP and I'm not sure how it will look on me. Thanks!
