Unless that's just how her camera picked it up. Is it listed anywhere what products were used on the model in that promo pic?

I used the Moodlight HL duo today and omg, it's stunning! Just lit my face right up. I used the lighter shade on top of my cheekbones & brushed the bronze shade just underneath & blended. It made my skin luminous & glowy & I love the healthy color the bronzer gave my skin! Loveeee it!!

Hello Fellow Tom Ford Fans, Feels like forever since i chatted with you guys !.

Im gonna do a quick review of the new primer but if you want to know more please find my video review link in my signature.

I got the shade Pink Glow which is for foundation shades 1-4 and the golden tone one is for darker skin of 4 and above, the primer does work however on my acne scars it made little difference, it made my skin glow'y, more uniform and it minimised my pores :).

Pros

  • Nice texture
  • Uniforms Skin Undertones
  • Minimises Pores
  • Illuminates And Awakens Skin
  • Enhances the Look of Foundation

Cons

  • Expensive for a Basic Primer
  • Golden shade will still look light on very deep skin tones
  • Emollient and prone to getting oily

I also played with the new Highlighters and they are Amazing ! :)

How was it for pores? My pores are easily emphasized so I have to be careful with shimmer/glitter products. Small shimmer I can do but glitter is a no no for me.
It will be fine. It's very very fine shimmer & much less noticeable when blended & using the proper brush. I think it will be fine. It does not emphasize pores.

About the duo, though the lighter shade swatches really well I find it needs a stiffer brush to pick up the product!! Wayne Goss 02 is what I use with most highlighters! While it picks up the second shade well, it just doesn't work the same with the lighter shade!! However brushes like mac 159 and 188 seem to work better!!

Yes! The lighter shade is difficult to pick up, while the Bronze shade doesn't have that problem. I typically like to use my hakuhodo highlighter brush for HLs but it just takes too much work to pick the lighter shade up. Definitely a better idea to use a stiffer brush.

YES!! Thank you!! I was wondering if it was just mine lol!! :haha: It swatches so well when you do finger swatches but doesn't seem to translate that way with a softer brush!! A stiffer brush is the way to go I guess!!

Lol, I thought it was just mine as well! I'm glad you posted about it bc It slipped my mind to share that on here. I thought maybe it was just mine as well It really does swatch well with my finger but definitely doesn't pick up much product on my softer brush. Stiffer brush it is

lighter side is definitely sheer
even on my light skin i had to swipe couple of times with my finger to make it show up
