Dropping by.... I was so psyched for the ombres (I wanted peach and bronze), but my SA told me about a month ago that no, the only one that I wanted was plum.   As usual, she was right. I picked up plum and So Vain the other day for my last true haul for a bit.  Something Wild is on the list, though. Reminded me of a favorite LMdB lipstick that I have...

I thought I did good. I said I was going to get So Vain and Plum ombre and that's it and that is what I did. I started swatching the lipsticks and then the SA brought over So Vain and said this one is the most popular. So I told him that it what I wanted. I started to swatch some more and then I remembered my pledge. Better not to swatch if I wanted to stick to it. So I thought I did good until . . . I went to some other counters. Yikes! I picked these up at Bloomies Soho. I have to remember to go there more often. Their lighting is 10x better than the other stores.

For my coloring, plum was the way to go (which is what my SA knew after having been to training on the items the month before that conversation). I'm normally #teambuyallthetomfordpretties, but I'm shockingly good right now.

When it was demo'd on me, it was swirled together with the eyeshadow blending brush.

The bronze one, IMO, would be a lovely highlight but I just bought Moodlight. That was why I passed.

Yup, which we paired with So Vain. I love it.

Added a thick cat eye with the black liquid eyeliner and it looked so vampy.

D'oh! Can't believe I forgot this- Cocoa Mirage as a base to bolster the sheer pigments in the ombre.
I'm stuck on using AW15 as a base with the Pink Ombré and Chanel Melody with the Peach Ombré. I have CM so I guess I'll need to try that too.

You're right Ash---Chanel Entrelacs Palette quint and Dior Cuir Cannage would also work.

That's going to look phenomenal on you along with the ombre! I'll content myself with my plum uniform and the idea that the peach would not work for my coloring.

That's your story and we will support your denial. I run from peach, but this AWESOME!!!! But you are soooooo right, it won't work for you. I petted my unicorn this morning, as I shared my breakfast with a huggable bear. Just as the peach and bronze won;t work for you.....

See Ms Allie, at least Meddy lets me stay in Ashland, based on I have something close to Cocoa Mirage....now the question is do you have something close to peach and bronze ombre????
