Seriously though - the grooves are too pronounced to be real MAC, and the bristles look a bit uneven and badly made. And yes its very cheap for that brush especially for a new one. I cant remember who's post i originally got this info from (probably panda i think), so kudos to them!

the bristles dont look like they were set properly. they should be straight across. id avoid. HTH!
