My cousin told me once that people put other people down because it makes them feel better about themselves. If they spend their energy focusing on what they think are *your* flaws, they don't have to acknowledge their own flaws.

pardon my french, but Fuck 'em. All through high school, I so desperately wanted to fit in with the in crowd, even though they were a bunch of shallow beotches. I was teased, ridiculed, etc, and never got asked out in HS, there were even days that I went home crying... But you know what? Everything is different now, I grew up, I'm a better, stronger, and more compassionate person because of them. AND? I'm hot.

Fabulousness is the ultimate 'revenge' in my opinion. I'm happy with myself, I've worked hard to get where I am, and I love to see the looks one the people I went to high school's faces when they see me after the 5,6,7 years since HS.

(I've changed a LOT) I guess, in small part, I owe them for making me who I am today. Just remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Who cares what they say, as long as you carry yourself with confidence and poise, no one can stop you! But yeah, sore subject with me too, so thats a little bit more than my 2 cents.
