Upset/ dissapointed!!!!!

Studio Fix Fluid makes me break out too.

But its not the fault of the foundation, the MA's, or the company.

In fact, its no ones fault. Everyone has a different skin type. And not everyone is going to react the same to a product.

You have found that MAC foundations don't seem to be working for you - so try a new brand.

Try, MUFE, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Stila, Chanel, Dior, the list goes on and on.


And as far as people hearing about others breaking out and it makes them not want to use the foundation - the reason you only hear about people breaking out, is because people who are unhappy are the first to say something. Those who are content and don't have any issues, never mention it, because they are in peace with it.

^^ well said, Alexa, I totally agree.

I can't wear MAC foundations for this very reason - they break me out. Even though I was tempted by the new Studio Sculpt, I did not even test drive it, as I am very wary of MAC foundations for my particular skin.

Good luck finding what works for you! One size (or brand) does not fit all.

I break out from the loose mineral foundation, all little reddish bumps! I think it is an allergic reaction, not acne. We get a lot of returns on the MNSF (which I've never had a problem with myself)

I think what I got was an allergic reaction.. it looks like just said.. lots of red bumps.. since I am in a treatment for acne.. the bumps are starting to disappear and drying up so I am excited I can wait to see my face clean again.. I havent done my make up in days to let my face breathe and get better..

I agree, I think you had an allergic reaction to the makeup, I don't believe its a true "breakout" as in acne...Did you have any itching? Sometimes you can stop an allergic reaction or slow it down with benadryl...If it works then you know for sure its an allergy.

WOw. I'm so sorry to hear that u broke out!

I had the same problem. A friend of myne bought me a Mac Foundation and I used it for over a period of weeks and I broke out so bad that now my face is scarred from that! I used to have smooth skin and Mac foundation ruined that for me! So i switched back to my regular foundation and never ever changing it to anything else!
