GlitterGoddess, ya know, you are right. I really should complain. I think as a matter of fact, i will complain this very moment. I will let you know if anything becomes of it.
Thanks!

I only discovered my Pro store in London recently and I was happy to because its less crammed in there with new collections. Its a very small place hidden near Carnaby street so I don't think the MAC mavens really know its there or maybe think its too small.

I've found that normally the SAs in there just leave me or alone (which I actually prefer) or kindly ask if I need anything but aren't very pushy. They just let you play around with stuff without much bother.

I used to go to the counter at Selfridges Oxford Street as its the easiest one for me to get to. Usually the SAs just ignore you completely even when you want help and the counter is always jammed with women and all the displays are in constant chaos. They do a lot of make-overs there and some of the SAs just stand behind the counter chatting even when the place is packed with women wanting stuff. I find it easiest to just test what I want and then go to the counter to get what I need, if I can catch someones eye. Also the lighting in Selfridges is pretty bad so things don't always look as they should.

I order make-up online all the time but with MAC I usually prefer to at at least swatch it because the online swatches never mach the products, plus they are always selling out of the new LE stuff I want on the first day of launching in the uk usually.

I avoided MAC counters for years because in NYC (where i am from) alway seemed a bit snotty to me. I discovered I really like MAC but their staff have a real bad reputation around the world.

I've been wanting to go to a PRO store, but the nearest one to me is 2 hours away. Can you go to a PRO store without being a PRO card owner? What I mean is, can just anyone shop there, or do I have to go to a freestanding store?

the store in south coast is pro now.. for any of those who want addresses go to the mac pro site (make sure its the pro site and not the reg mac site because that one doesnt have this) and then hit in your zip code and check the little button for stores that carry pro products, it should give you a list of 3 - 4 stores in states close to you, and the one you are looking for
